Found this van in Happy Camp tucked away in the bushes along with hundreds of other vintage cars. After a little TLC and elbow grease, new upholstery (shout out to Scott’s Upholstery!!) tires, breaks, new paint on the doghouse and all the trim (shout out to Brad!) and countless other things…. She’s now the new Metal Art Van. It fits all my totes, signs, tables and fire pits for shows and markets.
Dirty Debbie is a 1966 Dodge A100 Custom Sportsman that was parked for 37 years. Somehow, she was not rotting away. There was moss growing on her, no doubt, but her patina is impeccable. Absolutely zero plans for painting her exterior.

We had such a great weekend at the Art Along the Rogue Festival! There’s no question about it, anything ‘Bigfoot’ is our biggest sellers. Along with our largest Muley Welcome sign painted copper! We sell one at every event.

The Journey
5 months to the day. 5 months ago I quit my full time stable job, made an agreement with my new business partner Ken, and haven't looked back. Leading up to this moment , it felt like an eternity. Working for ‘The Man’, building the same dump truck trailers for the last 3 years, arguing with the same people day in and day out.... It was hard to even put in 40 hours. Motivation was at an all time low, and I didn’t want to be a lifer in a job I was miserable in. So I lined up a partner that I know and trust, and put my creative demons to work.
October and November had been dedicated to Ken’s personal crawler, a project which started from the ground up. Towards the end of November we started brain storming on our first project build. 🤔💡 We steered toward something new, something that we haven’t really seen on the market before : A Baja/Overland combination. The build was on from there. In the next few weeks, it’ll be off to paint and ready to sell.
It’s been a busy 5 months between these 2 builds, not to mention some in-between jobs for other customers, including a little Landcruiser rehab project for Millerville Farms. Needless to say, it’s just the beginning for Kinked Kustoms, and the creative juices haven’t even begun to flow.
