Meet Persimmoms Chef, Nico!

The culinary options at Persimmons Bar & Grill are prepared with grande fierte (great pride) by French Chef, Nicolas (Nico) Weugue.

Nico is from the city of Lyons in France (one of the major gastronomic cities in France, actually). His formal culinary training began at a young age with an Italian chef (specializing in pizzas and pasta dishes), and with a Slovenian chef with whom he studied gastronomic foods from England, France, and Italy. Nico also learned from a home filled with family members who loved to cook - and years of practicing and experimenting on his own.

Nico shared - "I feel like I have mastered making pizzas, and pasta, and I love dishes with sauce, so I make all kinds of sauces, and I am able to make all kinds of food at Persimmons. We prepare Italian, French, and Mexican dishes, and I am starting to prepare more Mediterranean dishes as well."

Nico's favorite dish is tomate farçie, and his favorite American fare is steaks. Nico was clear that it's not barbeque for him, this man likes T-bones, ribeyes, tomahawks, and New York strips.

When Nico is not preparing incredible dishes at Persimmons Bar & Grill, he is studying for his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, and Management - and spending time with his new bride.

We’ve hosted, toasted, and celebrated brunch for thousands, and we look forward to continuing to do so on Saturdays abd Sundays only - beginning next week.

Celebrate Father's Day with a TOMAHAWK -

We are rolling out a special menu to celebrate Father's Day on Sunday, June 16! Dad will love our incredible 46-48oz Tomahawk, served on a steak board with red potatoes, asparagus, and garlic herb butter (while supplies last).

Other special menu items include a surf and turf filet with shrimp, shallot bavette steak, saffron shrimp risotto, chicken parmesan, crab cakes, Mediterranean lamb kabobs on yellow rice, and a bourbon BBQ burger. Temporarily Pausing Brunch -

To accommodate upcoming special events, our brunch menu items will not be available over the next two weekends (Friday, April 26 through Sunday, April 28, and Friday, May 3 through Sunday, May 5).

Our full (non-brunch) menu items will still be available, along with our regular weekday breakfast items. Brunch will resume beginning Friday, May 10.

Easter Brunch -

This Easter weekend, allow us to extend our family table to you and yours. We serve brunch on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, from 8am to 2pm.
