JDM Helping Our Scouts.....Help Our Veterans

Born and raised in Wildwood, IL, Joey enlisted in the Army right out of high school in 2007. He trained at Fort Benning Georgia, later to be stationed at Hunter Army Air Field. Deployed three times, Joey lost his life in Salerno, Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom.

With your help our mission continues.....

The JDM Helping Our Scouts.....Help Our Veterans will remain as a separate entity and serve as a catalyst and liaison between local Boy Scouts of America Troops and local Veteran assistance groups in Lake County, Illinois. The JDM strives to provide helpful small-scale services to area Veterans for no cost. The Annual US Army Ranger SPC Joey Dimock Memorial Golf Outing will provide funds for purchase of supplies, tools and equipment necessary for completion of various service projects. The JDM recognizes the demand for Veteran assistance and completion of various service projects and will explore avenues to best serve these demands with the service obligations of the Boys Scouts of America.

Our mission will continue to be to assist Lake County Veterans in need. We have worked with the Lake County Veterans Assistance Commission, The Midwest Veterans Closet, The Freedom Farm for Veterans just to name a few.
