Happy Saturday everyone! I hope everyone is having a great morning. I cannot believe the sunset that came the night of this couple's maternity session. I was literally giddy during the shoot and they probably that I was insane....but the sky was insane! I love living in Montana!!

I've watched this kid grow up in front of my lens. I first took his photos for Halloween, I can't remember how old he was, 12? Now he's a senior. Thankful for the time I've had getting to know this kind young man. Can't wait to see where he goes with his life!

Gage was my first solo athlete session. It was really pleased with how the wrestling room photos turned out. My mentor Heather Carey Photography did a great job in training me because even with just one light (compared to her three) these are cool!

Catching up on posting! I've been doing so many amazing sessions and posting always takes a backseat to delivering galleries on time. I was in San Fran for a week, then Glacier for a wee, then sick for a week, now taking care of a sick kid for a week. I'm living my life week by week these days haha

Even when there's smoke in the air, Glacier never disappoints. Also these were taken on a Monday night and I saw at least five other photogs in our 2nd spot. I wish I could see all their photos from the same night! Would be so fun :)

I learned a little something new this last weekend. I was mentored by the awesome Heather Carey Photography to learn how to take epic sports photos. I will miss her doing all the heavy lifting and using her brain but I'm excited to venture on my own to capture some amazing stuff! Special thanks to Lexi and Ty for modeling for these! Been busy in Idaho this weekend working with the amazing Heather Carey to pump up my photo game, specifically athletic photos. Will post some sneaks later. But for now here’s some of my trip, complete with the sand dunes and a ranch in salmon Idaho

2025 seniors it's time to start booking! Summer is filling up quickly. Can't wait to meet you all!

I still have an opening for June 1st in the Tetons by Jackson Hole. This is such a great opportunity for photos because it's only $100 travel fee (in addition to your chosen package). The travel fee for this is usually around $500. Take a fun weekend trip through Yellowstone and end up in the Jackson area and get photos! SO fun! Let me know if you want to snag it!

Two posts in one day? Yea I know, I'm rocking social media today haha. The sky showed out for this session the other night. It's why I have a love hate relationship with spring photos. The clouds could mean storms, which have to be scheduled around or they could just bring the magic. There's really no other time of year when the clouds are this consistently awesome day after day.

Motherhood sessions are going strong. This is my beautiful cousin and her kids. Don't let the littlest one fool you. She's super cute but she can sure be bossy haha! At one point she looked at me while I was taking her picture and said "NO!" It was pretty funny....I didn't stop taking her photo so I wont that battle haha!
Also if you need your hair done contact Kelsey, she does an amazing job!

Can you believe it was snowing the morning these photos were taken? Yea, me either. This MT spring weather is something else. I had a shoot scheduled for yesterday but we had to reschedule due to the snow, rain, and wind storm that rolled through...but don't worry because in just 3 short days it'll be almost 80 degrees....Check on your photog friends in the spring. We don't know where to shoot, what day, what time, and we also really don't have any room in the schedule to reschedule so our brains are exploding. It's fine....haha. But honestly most weather is magical to shoot in. It may not look how you envisioned but as long as you're happy with those you love that's all that really matters to make photos that make you feel something.

Motherhood minis kicked off with Jackie and her two boys, who are basically grown! It was fun to go up to the pasture that has her horses and get to see where her and the boys share fun times riding together. This is what is great about the Motherhood minis I offer, they are totally tailored to you and your kids and where you are at in your motherhood journey. Whether you have teens, adult children, babies, or some age in between we can make memories and magical photos for you to treasure forever.

Somehow the entire first week of May is open for Mommy and Me sessions! These are $200 for 7 images BUT if you've had a session with me before they are $175 for 7 images. I have no availability the rest of the month so if you want in on this awesome deal the first week in May is wide open!

Not sure who has seen the April issue of Great Falls Neighbors magazine but it features Kareem Jamar and his Prolific Basketball program! Kareem is super skilled on the court, playing for the Great Falls Electrics but he's also a skilled coach. If you want to see your kids get better at the game I suggest reaching out to this program.

Sitting here trying to think of what to say about this session and all I keep thinking is how amazing Marissa is. So I'll talk about her, which she'll hate haha. Her and her family moved here in 2020 when the world was crazy. They had no family or friends or support when they moved here. Brave. I first met Marissa when she brought my brother home from an oxygen chamber appointment. At this time in his illness he could barely stand on his own and he was going to chamber appointments daily for weeks and we as a family needed help with transport. It was not an easy job. My brother was a full grown man and needed help walking and getting in and out of the car. Marissa was not only new to Montana but new to the church my brother attended (at the time I wasn't going to this church, though I had in the past, so I knew she was pretty new to the church family) and I remember thinking "what kind of person volunteers to take care of a sick man they barely know, she's a better person than me", and I instantly liked her. Fast forward to me going back to the church I was at before (my brother's church and Marissa's) and she has become a great friend. Even better she's cooked authentic Mexican for me and I've learned how to make a few things for myself with her guidance. Also, she was in the Marines and if you know me at all, you know any person that has served is my hero because I bleed red, white and blue. Basically she's freaking amazing, her family is kind, and I'm blessed to know her.

We walked, we climbed, we scaled the side of a cliff, we picked ticks off ourselves, and we got the shots! Don't be afraid of a little adventure in your session, it makes for some great photos and even better memories.
