Ron Offutt's journey has taken many twists and turns over the years, but one thing has always remained, his passion for farming and helping customers reach their goals.

A journey that has been recognized by many. So much so, Ron has been awarded a Lifetime Impact Award from Grand Farm for his impact and innovation in the industry.

Ron has a lot to say about where he's been but for those looking to the future, here's his advice:

"I would encourage any young person today who is thinking about a career to give all the consideration you can to agriculture. Because it's exciting and I think the next 40 years are going to be better than the last 40, and the last 40 hasn't been bad.

The Fort Worth, TX, store needed to add a long reach arm and boom with all the counterweights to a new Deere 300P excavator. The thing is, the shop wasn't tall enough to complete it indoors.

Two of our field service technicians heard about the project and stepped up to help. After their hard work, the excavator is now fully equipped and ready to go. 😎

The results are in for the seventh annual RDO Pink Hat breast cancer fundraiser 💟

Thanks to support across the RDO network, proceeds from the sales of this year's RDO Pink Hat Fundraiser for the National Breast Cancer Foundation have totaled more than $60,000 — breaking all previous records!

We're proud of the way our team members, customers and communities came together to support those diagnosed.

If you look up the definition of leadership you'll read, "the action of leading a group of people or an organization."

But a leader is more than that. It's someone who seizes opportunities, who is ambitious about their goals and inspires others with their vision.

Manage Turf and Utility Fleets Efficiently with John Deere Operations Center Tony Kramer sits down with RDO Account Manager Alex Mitchell and John West, Owner of JT Lawn Services & Landscaping to discuss how John Deere Operations Center manages turf and utility fleets.

From Texas to the Topcon Training Center. ⚡

Team members from Texas had the opportunity to spend time in sunny California, learning more about Topcon technology.

"As our Deere business changes, the technology always seems to be one step ahead. We are making the commitment in Texas to train about 60 sales professionals and sales leaders over the next couple of months," Mike Miller, General Manager of Construction Technology, says.

Ongoing training such as this ensures that our team members can provide customers with the best possible support.

The RDO Vermeer team is taking home the hardware. 🏆

The team was named among the top three highest performing dealer groups in three of seven product categories, and ranked first in four of them, at Vermeer's annual dealer year-end meetings.

"What makes these rankings a reality is the level of commitment our team members have for our customers and the importance we place on building trusting relationships. We're only successful when our customers are, and at the end of the day, that's what drives us," Duane Bonini, Vice President, explained.

“Go out and give your best every day — even when it’s hard. As a technician, you’ll learn and grow so much over the years and that is something to be proud of,” said Alan N., Field Service Technician from Hermiston, OR.

Alan's commitment to his craft has captured industry-wide attention as in addition to being awarded as one of John Deere's Service Technician of the Year, he has recently been named one of the AED Foundation's Knapheide Technician of the Year winners, too.

His recognition through these awards represents what his team members have always known; Alan is a talented technician, a role model in the community and most of all, a great mentor to those around him.

Remember when these superheroes, or better known as the RDO machine health monitoring team, helped save the day? 👇

It was a typical Tuesday morning at our customer's family farm when their 9520R triggered a Low Oil Pressure Expert Alert.

As soon as the RDO Machine Health Monitoring team saw this, they notified his local store, requesting they contact him and advise he shut down the tractor right away.

It turns out the cause of the trigger came from a sudden drop in oil pressure and the RDO team knew this could lead to serious problems if left unaddressed.

The local store sent a truck the next morning and hauled his tractor to the shop for repairs. While inspecting, the technician found that the check ball on the pressure regulating spring was not sealing correctly, causing the low oil pressure.

Because of John Deere's Expert Alerts, paired with our team's capabilities to monitor and quickly react and respond, his engine was saved. RDO is like that trusted friend you have, who is always looking out for you. 💻🔧🧰💯

Remember when Tyler Bereman broke the High Air World Record at the 2023 X Games?

As a former supercross racer turned freerider and Red Bull Athlete, Tyler needed the perfect set up to practice on.

Here's where RDO came in to help. A 245P excavator with the muscle and digging capabilities helped Tyler go to extreme new heights, literally, as he constructed his own quarter-pipe.

Better yet, Tyler achieved exactly what he set out to do, breaking the record by launching over 52 feet into the air and crushing the world record. 💪

Today's throwback post is from July 1st, which has special significance in Fargo, North Dakota. There, July 1st is celebrated as "701 Day" - a nod to the state's area code, 701. (yep, one code for the whole state!)

We call it 701 Day and use it as a chance to celebrate our roots in serving growers in the place where RDO began. We celebrate with fun events where we talk about agriculture and share our passion with members of the community.

The best part is that our calendar is filled with days just like 701 Day in communities far and wide, places we've grown to be a part of, where we have the chance to make a difference for friends, neighbors and customers.

We're proud of where we came from, proud of where we are and proud of where we're headed.
