It’s time to try 50 of the world’s best desserts by CNN Travel “Mango Sticky rice“ According to CNN International, this is why the Thai desserts are the perfect complement to any delicious Thai meal shared with family and friends:
Mango with Sticky Rice
A ripe, tender dish of Mango with Sticky Rice is among the world’s most perfect desserts. This traditional sweet begins with the glutinous rice that’s grown in paddies across Southeast Asia. The starchy grains are combined with rich coconut milk and palm sugar for a treat that retains a chewy bite even when it’s perfectly soft.
A truly Thai Mango with Sticky Rice dish has just two favoured mango varieties: choose between nam dok mai, a sweet, yellow fruit that’s pertly curvaceous, or ok rong, whose higher acidity offers a pleasant counterpoint to the sweet rice.

Drunken Noodles “Pad Kee Mao” in Thai, there are three theories of how the dish got its name. The first theory is based on the Chinese addition of rice wine as an ingredient, which was not previously used in the original Thai recipe. The second pays tribute to the inebriated inventor by suggesting that the dish was a product of a drunken culinary creation. A final theory credits the dish to a side dish that was cooked specifically to complement alcohol drinking. Get recovered from hangovers by our Drunken noodles at JaydSiri Thai Bistro.
