We mourn the tragic loss of NYPD Officer Emilia Rennhack who was one of four killed on Friday when a drunk driver crashed into a nail salon in Deer Park.

The Kings Point PBA extends our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Deputy Bradley Reckling of the Oakland County Sheriffโs Office who was shot and killed in the line of duty on Saturday while conducting surveillance on a stolen vehicle in Detroit, MI. Deputy Reckling had served with the Oakland County Sheriffโs Office for 9 years, having received numerous awards during his career. He is survived by his expectant wife and three children. May we never forget Deputy Recklingโs sacrifice.
It is with deep sadness that the Kings Point PBA announces the passing of retired Police Commissioner George Banville Jr. George passed away on May 7, 2024. George served the residents of Kings Point for 38 years before retiring in 2022. He will be sorely missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Alert Fire Department located at 555 Middleneck Road in Great Neck on Sunday June 9, 2024 at 12:30 PM.
The Kings Point PBA is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Father Joseph DโAngelo. Father Joe was the Kings Point PBA Chaplain, as well as Head Chaplain of the Nassau Police Conference, the Nassau County Police Department, and MANY other Police Departments. Rest in eternal peace Father Joe. Your service will never be forgotten.
We are saddened by the news of several law enforcement officers who were killed and wounded in North Carolina while serving a warrant for a convicted felon.
