Recognizing the following signs of hearing loss can be helpful:
-Isolation: Persons with hearing loss may avoid complex social gatherings.
-Difficulty With Conversations: People with diminished hearing might only capture parts of a conversation, nodding along even when they don’t fully grasp the details.
-Turning up the TV: As hearing loss is often gradual, the TV volume may increase over time to compensate.
