American Sign Language (ASL) is the main sign language for Deaf communities in the US. But did you know there are other visual languages and dialects? These include Spanish Sign and Black American Sign.

When it comes to health care, we need to consider everyone's primary language. Language barriers are a health equity issue.

This Disability Pride Month help advance health research. It should consider the special needs of people with disabilities.
