All-Starz Youth Day is happening today in Joannes Park! Last year was so much fun and we love that Starz Barber & Beauty of Green Bay hosts this event right in our neighborhood! Head over to the park for an afternoon of fun ⭐️

WAKEY WAKEY…. Today is the day..!! ITS YOUTH DAY IN GREEN BAY..!!!!!
Come on out and let’s have some fun. We got Bouncy houses, food trucks, ice cream trucks, free clothes, free shoes, free socks, free underwear, free gift cards for the kids. We have close to if not 1000 book bags to give away.. Listen you DONT WANNA MISS THIS EVENT WITH YOUR CHILD. We have resources for children.. We have several businesses that will also be on site. Kimbrough AFH has it approved where we can hire 16 year olds now.. So it will be a table for applications for the teenagers who would like to work in that field. We about to go Craaaaaazzyyyyy..!!!🤪😜🤪😜🤪😝 Let’s Goooooooooo..!!!!!

I know I said it earlier but let me say it again.. We got FREE HAIRCUTS from several barbershops coming out to the park with us.. Imago Dei, Get A CUT, Ferocious Cuts&Styles, MVP Barbershop, Edge Barbershop..

Rain or shine, we hope to see you TONIGHT at our Annual Meeting! We will meet inside the Joannes Park pavillion so come learn what we've been up to and share your ideas for our neighborhood. ☀️🌧

Green Bay Parkee Program Kicks Off 100th Year  

This is pretty cool! $25 to swim all summer long at Joannes Aquatic Center ☀️🌊

Will you be hanging out at the City of Green Bay Pools this summer? Consider purchasing a pool pass for only $25 per person! You'll have access to Resch Aquatic Center, Joannes Aquatic Center and Colburn Pool all season.

Last week, a few JPN neighbors spent a few hours cleaning up our neighborhood sign on the corner of Webster and Walnut. They hauled away a truck bed of weeds and overgrowth and there's still so much to do to get this site looking clean. After the site is clear, we will be working on some landscaping plans to make this a welcoming space for people to enjoy. If you are interested in helping clean up, design, or maintain this lot, please reach out! We need help with upkeep.

Also, shoutout to Fresh Prints Of Green Bay for making these safety vests with our neighborhood logo on the back! We've used them a few times now to keep our volunteers safe and visible!! We are fortunate to have received Green Bay Neighborhoods mini-grants to cover the cost of the safety vests this year (and the neighborhood signs last year)!

We loved seeing so many neighbors enjoying arts and culture at Joannes Park! Can’t wait for more music and art in our neighborhood! 💙💛

Historic Tarlton Theatre presents First Annual Piano Painting Festival GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Celebrating the painting of pianos across our community, five donated pianos were moved to public locations throughout Green Bay in partnership with five neighborhood…

It was a beautiful day for live music and painting in the park! Huge shoutout to The Tarlton Theatre for including us in their Keys to the City | Painted Piano Festival. We appreciate Ramona and The Flower and Jake Phelps for sharing their talents with our neighborhood today! It was great to see so many neighbors come out and enjoy public art 🎨 🎶

GBASO cleans Joannes Skatepark early for Earth Day A team from the Green Bay Action Sports Organization did it’s part today by hosting and participating in a clean-up event at Joannes Skatepark.

We must show the importance of protecting our beautiful planet and the special places in our own community. That’s why we’re focusing on cleaning Joanne’s Sk8 Park Joannes Park Neighborhood tomorrow at noon. This park isn’t just a place to skate; it’s a space where families gather, friends meet, and kids learn new tricks. Keeping it clean means a safer, more enjoyable environment for everyone.

Alyssa is a familiar face in our neighborhood - she is a past Board President, and is one of the people responsible for launching The Fridge at Joannes Park! Randy Scannell will be missed but we are so excited to see Alyssa represent our neighbors at city council. 💙💛

Brown County United Way is looking for your feedback! Their new offices will be located in the City East Center building that is currently under construction on the corner of Walnut and Roosevelt. The feedback provided from this survey will help inform the needs and services that are most important to our community.
