Just thought this might be a good time to put this post right here.

For those who don't know our extensions.
They are pretty good, and many pretty good sailors use them.
Just saying.
Just saw this video of an Extreme 40 and the owner has bought adjustable extensions from us several times for his and a few other Extreme 40s in his corner of the world (Northern AUS).
A question that we get, is often in regards to the adjustment.
It is hard to tell someone in words how they feel.
If you watch this video at 13:51-13:53, he moves from the front cockpit to the rear cockpit, and adjust the length of the tiller extension while moving. You can see how effortlessly it is adjusted.
Keep in mind that these are our 68"-131" (1727mm-3327mm) long extensions for reference. The size of everything in reference is thrown off when you are looking at a 23' wide by 40 foot long cat for many of us. So you can see he unlocks, slides the extension 36" and relocks it very fast and smoothly.
If you look where he is sitting in the front and then in the back cockpits you can see how far he moved the extension. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7dlLA-yN-UI
Extreme 40s catamaran season is starting in Australia.
Owner, Joe on the tiller, has been a supporter of Malcheski Composites.
Thansk Joe!!!

Since we are a small company (father and son) some may wonder who uses their extensions?
We have been making extensions for 12-13 years. Most were sold in the USA and Canada for the first 9-10 years. We have managed to get some to the Southern hemisphere starting a few years back.
Some are in Europe also, and the UK.
Here are some people from Down Under (Australia) who use Malcheski Composites extensions on their cats as their summer winds down, and our summer is ramping up in the northern hemisphere.
John Forbes (Olympic level sailor, World Champion, Europeans, Australians, etc) uses a pink one on his Pink Cow Tornado.
Linda Silva Renouf uses pink on her Hobie 18.
Brett Burvil (Boat builder/designer/leg healer) in AUS, and top of the fleet sailor in several classes) uses a Gold accented unit on his personal gold Windrush Edge.
Jared and Suzanne Eyles use a Blue Kevlar/carbon unit on their Tornado. Jared is 6'7" and you can see the extension's length in this photo.
On their new Windrush Edge, they matched the color with a "BLUE DYED CARBON unit.
Kerrie Driver used a pink extension when she owned a Tornado.
EXTREME 40 cat sailor/owner Joel Berg uses Malcheski Composite units on his Extreme 40 ( each uses 2 units because of the width) and a couple of other Extreme 40s he sails with use them also. Below is a link to a video of them in action when a squall came through at an event, and you can see our Logo on the extensions at a few points.

We have processed our first batch of a new color of blue.
Previously the colors were dyed Kevlar. Most of the colors are as you would hope for, but the blue was a bit shy at showing.
There is a limit on the amount of blue dye that could be added to the Kevlar.
In this new process experts developed technology to color carbon fiber.
It does not come inexpensively, but the results are quite stunning.
The new blue color will be on our webpage soon.
Malcheski Composites FB page is up! Hiking sticks come in standard lengths for beachcats of various beams.
