Meet the talent behind Flagondry Goods…Suzy Thibert!
Q: How did you come up with the name Flagondry Goods?
A: The first part of the business name originated 30 years ago when my, then 7 year old daughter saw a dragonfly and excitedly blurted out “flagondry”. In 2013 she added the “goods” portion of the business name which gave birth to this creative outlet!!
Q: How did you get into vintage reselling?
A: Scientists say that traits can skip a generation and in my case my grandmother taking me to her antique store on Saturdays made sure antiquing wasn’t going to skip 2 generations. Talking to tourists who stopped in our little town of Niagara to buy the treasures I had arranged and learned about. My grandmother gave me a silver and mother-of-pearl pin and my interest in all things beautiful and old started. Over 40 years ago she gave me the sign that hung outside the shop. It’s a prized possession for sure! I’ve been in this business for 66 years and I’m sticking with that!
Q: What can we find in your booth?
A: I embrace anything Bohemian Bridgerton with a twist. As a retired teacher I want to educate customers, so if you meet me in my booth I’ll strike up a conversation about your collecting style or point out one of my favorite, obscure pieces. If I’m not in the booth the price tag on the item might have a detailed description, and oftentimes a bit of humor. Ephemera, botanicals and the macramé make me a product of the 70’s. So finding your inner gypsy can always lead you to my space.
Q: What was your coolest find?
A: While shopping with my daughter at a Goodwill here in Green Bay (20 years ago), we came across a rack of vintage estate clothing. The “Hermes” cashmere camel coat and vest was priced at $200 and I was instantly deflated, but the price tag was just a piece of paper. I put the ensemble on and walked around the store for 1/2 an hour before making a mother/daughter decision that we must scrimp in other areas to secure this iconic piece. I did wear it several times before relinquishing it to my daughter 6 years ago.

Meet Tiffany Galliano, the face behind BLK & WHT Mercantile!
Q: How did you get into reselling vintage?
I stumbled into reselling vintage items based on necessity. I am an avid collector of beautiful and funky things, but unfortunately, my collection has outgrown my home! I decided it was time to sell some of my beloved treasures, and that’s how it all began!
Q: What can we find in your booth at Wonderland?
I enjoy curating unique items and my particular focus is on home décor. I especially like finding different artwork with lovely frames, interesting lamps, amusing tchotchkes, and all things brass.
Q: What inspires you?
I love discovering places that evoke an emotion with their décor. Whether it is a calming, cozy ambiance at a restaurant or a boutique that excites and surprises with its interesting choices of color and design. I’m always on the search for one-of-a-kind places and items.
Q: What is your coolest find?
One of the coolest things I’ve found while hunting for treasures is a 15’ (possibly antique) store counter. It’s wooden, full of character, and was buried in a garage at a rummage sale. I took a shot in the dark and left my information in case the homeowners ever decided to sell it. To my surprise, I received a call a few weeks later saying they were ready to make a deal. The rest, as they say, is history.
Q: Do you personally collect anything?
Home décor is what brings me the most joy, but I tend to cycle through items as I source new and interesting pieces. I’ll keep my favorite items for a while, however, eventually they may end up in my booth if replaced with a newer favorite. It’s a fun process that keeps my home ever-changing.
