Hello Everyone! It’s Coral here, and I just wanted to make an official post letting everyone know that as of July 26th, I will be leaving Hype Hair to go chase some dreams further from home. It has truly been an amazing experience here at Hype Hair! I have grown into who and what I am here. Thank you to everyone who has sat in my chair and trusted me to make sure you love your hair when you leave. Thank you for sharing your stories, giving me your time and your understanding as we grew together. Thank you to these ladies who work here and make Hype Hair what it is today. You have been a rock when needed and a great source of laughter everyday that we got behind these chairs. I will miss you all dearly, you all take good care of each other!🥹🥹🥹

Hey there everyone, I’m excited to announce that we have been a Green Circle Salon partner for almost a month!!! 🫶🏼

I know you are like ok, cool Amanda what does this mean?

If you don’t know me you could definitely say I nerd out on certain things, recycling kind of being one of those things. I read up on things like microplastics in our drinking water, the amount of waste hair salons make daily/monthly/yearly definitely contributes to things like this. So I have done some research to figure out how I can help in our small little way. We recycle as much as we can with our bulk bin, but that only gets the basics. There is so much more we can recycle in this industry… So, It has been my goal for the last few years to partner up with a company called Green Circle Salons.

Green Circle Salons is a Certified B corp company that actually works with salons to recycle things like tinfoil, aerosol cans, color tubes, hair and other many one use items. I thought I knew how much waste we had but oh my, was I wrong! The amount of foils we go through in just a month in the salon is insane, and I’m so glad that we can now recycle it. Aluminum is forever recyclable and reusable and we can now actually recycle this, and I’m overly geeked about this.

So if you see a bunch of bins around the salon, ask your stylist about it. If you have any questions please feel free to ask and we will do our best to explain. We are still in the beginning stages of this but I’m so excited to be a part of the Green Circle Community
