Pecard Leather Care Company
Crafting quality Leather Care since 1902!
A friend of mine had thrifted these boots and wanted to know if any Pecard products could help with all the fading (second photo). I first had her do the water drop test (third photo) and when it darkened the leather I knew the Pecard Weatherproof Dressing in brown was a perfect solution. I ended up doing two treatments with the brown (fourth photo) and a third with the neutral (fifth photo) as these were quite dry. I love how they turned out and they also are water resistant.
We received this customer review and had to share it. Thank you Y.I.!
"After washing and drying the jacket I treated the leather with your Leather Lotion and Motorcycle Leather Dressing. The jacket looks, smells, and feels brand new."
I’m super happy with the outcome. Cheers Y. I.
A special Thank you to customer Beth H.-A. for sharing these beautiful before and after photos. She used Pecard Antique Leather Dressing on her father's over 100-year-old baby shoes. She says "They turned out beautifully, going from very brittle to pliable and beautiful."
It means the world to us that you trust Pecard Leather Care with such a cherished heirloom. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you ever have questions regarding such meaningful antiquities.

Happy new year! Anyone elses suede boots look similar? I used the Pecard foaming cleanser with the suede and nubuck brush to remove the salt stains. Dabbing it off with a damp rag and clean water. Allowing it to dry before applying two coats of the suede and nubuck spray. Let me know if you'd like to see a video tutorial.
From the Pecard family to yours, we hope you have a wonderful holiday season. Thank you for your support over the last year. We look forward to serving you in the coming year.
Waterdrop test: an easy way to check if leather can be treated with our Pecard Leather Dressing or Boot & Shoe Oil, is to put a few droplets of water on the leather and give it a few minutes. If the water soaks in or darkens the leather, like the dew in the grass did to my boots here this morning, then it's a good indication they can be treated. As long as it's not suede or Nubuck as that will need the Suede and Nubuck Protectant.
