The String Instrument Workshop will be closed all day Tuesday January 11th, and hours will vary during the week as I take some personal time to help my wife recover from surgery. Please call ahead before traveling to the store. Thanks for your patience.

I'm excited that congress has approved billions of dollars for infrastructure. I've got a few bridge projects to propose.

Kavarna Cafe & Coffee provides some of Northeast Wisconsin's finest lattes, coffee drinks, and locally sourced fairs and recently started roasting their own coffee. They invested in a sustainable roasting machine that produces 98% less co2 emissions compared to traditional roasters that most companies use. Like many restaurants and coffee shops, they've had to adapt during COVID. They have implemented systems to allow for online ordering for curbside pickup, expanded use of 3rd party delivery services, and reworked the menu to choose items that can maintain their quality during delivery and trips home.

It is time to unlock the doors and welcome my friends & customers back to Broadway. For the time being, our hours will be 10:15-4:45 M-F.
I HAVE MISSED ALL OF YOU!
While you are at it, come on down around lunch time and pick up a sandwich at Kavarna, or Little Tokyo. They miss you too! Then maybe pick up a record at The Exclusive Co. It's time to get back to work!

The String Instrument Workshop will accept repairs Starting Wednesday April 29. The hours will be limited 10:30am – 4:45pm. Please call ahead to arrange drop-off. I will follow the Governor’s guidelines for contact & payment. Please come ONLY if you are well.
I am looking forward to getting back to what I love to do, so that you can continue to do what you love to do. Meanwhile, let us all be safe out there.

Because of the cancellation of so many live performances due to the current virus outbreak, noted local Critic at Large Warren Gerds is reprieving some of his past stories, including one that he wrote about quite a few years ago featuring my one of a kind violin string package collection. This piece will show on WFRV Local 5 Sunday Morning at 6 (that’s 6 am). If for some reason your alarm clock fails, and you don’t wake up bright an early Sunday morning to watch this fascinating segment, you can still view it at the website wearegreenbay.com. Once this current health crisis is over, you all can all stop in and browse the collection in person.

Twenty-four years ago today I signed the loan papers to purchase our Broadway store. It has been, and continues to be, an honor to be part of the Broadway district, and see all of the vibrant businesses that are here, and people that come to the district each day.
