Our first time at National Night Out! We had a great time, the rain held off, the kids loved the paw print school supplies! Thank you to everyone that stopped by! We can't wait to come back next year! 🐾

Our dog Rex got out of our fence last night. We live one mile east of Rangeline/Albin pond intersection. Please let me know if you see him. Green collar and likely wet and covered with burs as I suspect he took off in woods. 317-910-5976

Happy 4th of July! While you celebrate this holiday with friends and family, remember your furry friends don't like loud booms. Protect them, keep them inside, turn up the TV/radio.
And if you are looking for a new family member, we have lots of dogs and cats waiting for you.
The shelter will be open tomorrow, 11-6 and Saturday 11-3.

It is time for this sweet boy to find his forever home! Nov 2021...this boy traveled from Hendricks County to Putnam County via pathways. (See link in comments). After being contained by some amazing people, who know their stuff, it was decided to name him Tripp! He has been at the shelter since then...almost 3 years!! 😢
He was shutting down in the shelter. Kennel stress, it is real! Recently we sent him to The Dog Lounge to get some one on one training and a break from the shelter life. He has flourished. Gaining weight, happy, playing with toys. We are seeing a different dog. He just needed out of the stressful environment.
Now he is ready for his forever home. He would do best as the only dog, older kids and uncertain on cats. We know sometimes it's hard to find a home to meet that criteria but we know that home is out there. Who is ready to let Tripp live his best life? Could it be you?

KODA is a recent rescue. From the owner:
Koda took off after a deer last night around 9-9:15 we spent until 10:45 looking for him and I was up until 2 looking outside the camper for him PLEASE greencastle friends if you see him posted or see him call me asap!

He had a training collar on but didn’t respond and he’s not taken off since we got him. We have air tag on order so that wasn’t on him yet
