The Resilient Wujimu Chapter of Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Inc. would like to recognize today as World Mental Health Day and remind everyone that your mental health matters! 💚🏹
Established by the World Health Organization (WHO) in 1992, World Mental Health Day was created to raise awareness of mental health issues and mobilize efforts in support of mental well-being worldwide. This day plays a crucial role in breaking the stigma surrounding mental health, which has often been misunderstood and neglected.
Each year, World Mental Health Day focuses on a specific theme, encouraging conversations about topics such as access to mental health care, the effects of mental illness, and the importance of mental well-being for all. Remember to prioritize self-care, take time for yourself, and seek support when needed—because your mental health is just as important as your physical health.

The Resilient Wujimu Chapter of Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Inc. proudly recognizes October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This month serves to raise awareness about breast cancer and show love and support to those affected by it.🎀🏹
Originally established in October 1985 as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM), this initiative began as a collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the pharmaceutical division of Imperial Chemical Industries, with a focus on promoting mammograms as a key tool in the fight against breast cancer.
Today, Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an annual global campaign organized by leading breast cancer charities to increase awareness and raise funds for research into its causes, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and cure. We encourage everyone to take the time to educate themselves and make regular screenings a priority. Early detection saves lives—starting with self-checks.🩷🤍
