It's all about the sauce. Cipolla's Pride is a plum shaped tomato that immigrants brought directly from Sicily to Brooklyn in 1906. You bet it makes great sauce! Another larger sauce tomato is simply called: Italian Heirloom. It is big, meaty and full of flavor. As the season progresses the fruits tend to become more heart shaped. It is good for everything from fresh sliced tomatoes to canning and of course, sauce. Italian Heirloom tends to be our earliest larger tomato and the first tomatoes often weigh up to a pound. We won 7 blue ribbons out of 8 vegetables we submitted for judging at our County Fair!! One red ribbon. Way better than I expected! We are so happy such a beautiful display of vegetables this year. Our vegetables are organically grown, so it makes it feel even better, that we can grow beautiful vegetables without chemicals. There's already so much satisfaction on gardening, so this is like the cherry on the top to get all these blue ribbons 😁 we did it!!

These salves are made with organic herbs, organic oils and all natural ingredients. I updated the website for wholesale orders for salves and balms. My wife, Fabby Magana, has made hundreds of salves in wholesale quantities. It finally entered my mind that our website could be updated to include wholesale prices. Fiat Homestead has another set of triplets. This time the mother rejected one of them and the other wasn't sucking, so we bought them into the house and are bottle feeding them. They are Mini Nubians. We had two bucks and four does born this year. We are keeping two of the does. We use the milk mostly for making our goat's milk soap. Mini Nubians have a higher fat content to the milk which makes it ideal for soap making.
