We are thrilled to announce that Betty has been adopted!! 👏🙌🎉 She found a companion home that loves her for who she is and all she has to offer. We are so happy to have been able to give her a happy ending after such a tough start!!

Betty is a ~11year old Molly Mule. We think she is a Percheron cross gaited mule. Betty is VERY SWEET, loves attention and is food motivated; which will make training easier. She knows her strength and WILL need an experienced handler. She was probably used for pulling (based on the way she walks, her stature, etc.). She completed her EPM treatment, but we would like to see her adopted as a companion/pasture pet. Of course in-hand training and competing would still be an option as well.

Sassy is a 10 year old Quarter Horse. She was broke as a 2 year old, but then used as a broodmare. She was terrified of EVERYTHING when we met her. But she's now had time, patience, consistency and kindness from the humans around her and she has progressed quickly! Sassy just came back from 30 days of professional training with SG Performance Horses.

Sassy:
- Trailer Loads
- Cross and Trailer Ties
- Is easy to catch and lead
- Walks/Trots under saddle/with a rider

Sassy has a beautiful sorrel coat and is used to being in a mixed herd. Sassy is up to date with her vaccinations, dental and farrier needs. She has a calcium knot on one of her knees, but it does not affect her soundness/mobility too much - she does not seem to be in any pain. Sassy is flat-work/walk/trot sound and will continue to make progress under a kind hand.

Charlie is a 7 year old plot hound who was found on the TN/NC border. He unfortunately does not have a microchip and his finders were not able to locate his family. Sweetpea has a retained placenta that she didn't pass even with the help of oxytocin yesterday. She's feeling pitiful and needs surgery, like today. We're making calls and arrangements currently to figure out what vet to use as the one she's been seeing was unavailable to perform this. If one of our vets I've contacted can't help, she will need a ride to Knoxville most likely. If anyone can help with transport, I need to have one on standby . I am caring for her 3 puppies every 2 hours and really can't be the one to drive her to knox(it's a 1.5hr drive each way alone)

We're going to need to raise funds, and promptly, most emergency clinics will want 1k down to even help 😭😭 mommas not running a temp currently, but didn't eat yesterday and hasn't today either .

Pepper was adopted by someone who asked us for one of our more skittish cats. This was Pepper’s chance to be understood and allowed time to come out of her shell. We are so excited for Pepper and her new future!

PEPPER - 1-2yo - Female - Russian Blue
Pepper is a spayed, microchipped and vaccinated female Russian Blue cat. Her daughters (Pearl and Penny) have been adopted, now it's her turn to find a loving, patient home. She is starting to come out of their shell as she has learned that humans aren’t all that bad. She spends most of her day with Ashton, Bart and Ben.

We found her with her cat family in a bathroom with no food, no water, and two full litter boxes. The girls have come a long way since then and are now ready for homes of their own.

Foster homes are life savers…LITERALLY!! So many people gave up on Eddie, but not his foster parents! Eddie went from a terrified, protective and insecure dog to the life of the party! Along the way, he stole the hearts of his foster parents and became family.

Eddie, aka Eddie Munster, is a young energetic boy, approximately 2 years old, who was saved from euthanasia at the local high kill shelter. He loves to run, jump, play with toys, fetch and ride in the car/truck, and he especially loves treats and snuggles! Eddie’s past is a mystery as he was picked up as a stray. He has blossomed into a fun-loving companion.

One of our farrier's barn cats, Shiloh, birthed 5 healthy, adorable kittens in their hay loft and her owner has asked us for help in vetting and placing them. We are human, cat and dog socializing these adorable kittens and it is going really well! The kittens are now spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on their. vaccinations and deworming.
Shiloh is a well-loved barn cat who is not adoptable and will be spayed before returning to her home.

Erika seems to have been abandoned in the area and then birthed her kittens - Cookies and Cream - under someone’s house. Thankfully she is SUPER friendly and we have been socializing her adorable kittens.
