Hello everyone, we hope you are all staying safe and supporting one another through these tough times. Due to widespread water outage, power issues, and the unfortunate losses some of our fellow community members are facing, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend all of our football and cheer activities. This includes both practices and games planned for this coming week.

The health and safety of our community will always come first, and we hope to resume activities when conditions improve and it's safe for everyone to participate. We appreciate your understanding and support.

Let's use this time to care for our families and extend a helping hand to our neighbors. Together, we'll get through this. Stay safe! 💙

The Boys & Girls Club has decided to postpone the Celebrity Auction that was scheduled for this evening. Our primary concern is the safety and well-being of our community and due to flooding and heavy rain there are many in our community without electricity and water. We feel it is best for everyone to focus on their families and friends and we sincerely hope that everyone stays safe during this difficult time.

Wednesday, we had the privilege of welcoming Change Is Possible (CHIPS) Family Violence Shelter to the Boys & Girls Club for a presentation on bullying and bullying prevention.

CHIPS Advocate Emily, engaged and inspired our kids, providing valuable tools and understanding to help them tackle this crucial and ever growing issue.

Remember, these conversations shouldn’t end here. It's essential to continue discussing these topics at home to create a supportive environment where everyone feels safe to express themselves. Together, we can build a community that thrives on kindness, empathy, and respect. Please continue these important conversations at home, ensuring our kids feel supported and empowered every day.

Thank you so incredibly much to Emily and to CHIPS, for making such a positive impact. We are excited to collaborate with you all again in the future 💙
