We're also excited to have The Gideons International passing out New Testaments and Anthem Trio from the Kentucky Mountain Bible College providing live music!

It’s a great day to worship the Lord! Today is National Back to Church Sunday, and we would love to see you at Greenwood this morning. Sunday School with breakfast (biscuits & gravy) starts at 10am in the upstairs fellowship hall. Worship starts at 11am in the sanctuary with Pastor Doug Jennings.

Check out the new printable newsletters from the MidSouth GMC! We will have paper copies of the September newsletter available Sunday in the church foyer.

In an effort to connect with all the congregations and individuals across the Conference, the MidSouth Communications Committee is rolling out a new initiative for print media. Printed Connections is a monthly bulletin that highlights what all is occurring in the Conference. Local churches are welcome to print these bulletins to pass out or share in a fashion that fits the communications style of that congregation.

It is our hope that those who prefer print items will know that they are cherished in this Conference and that the people of the Global Methodist Church will begin to know the character of the denomination. We are on mission together, to empower one another, and to genuinely pursue in making disciples of Jesus of Christ. The MidSouth Conference wants to join the people in the chairs and pews, the classrooms, and in their towns to be a source of support and Christian love.

⭐️Welcome Pastor Doug Jennings to Greenwood ⭐️

We are thrilled to announce the beginning of a new chapter in our journey as Greenwood Methodist Church. Please join us in extending a warm and heartfelt welcome to Pastor Doug Jennings.

Pastor Jennings brings a wealth of experience, a deep commitment to faith and evangelism, and a passion for community outreach. He is a current resident of the Greystone community and is looking forward to continuing his call to ministry at Greenwood.

Greenwood is a member of the Global Methodist Church and looks forward to Pastor Jennings' leadership as we continue to make disciples of Jesus Christ who worship passionately, love extravagantly, and witness boldly.

Please join us for worship at 11AM on Sunday, September 1 as we welcome our new pastor. Let's fill the pews with our joyful spirits and a warm embrace for Pastor Jennings.

We were blessed this morning to celebrate 155 years of ministry at Greenwood. From worship to burying a time capsule to a great catered lunch; the Holy Spirit was with us.

The Isaiah 117 House of Greeneville sends a big thank you to the congregation at Greenwood for collecting so many toys. They were truly grateful and overcome by your support. You filled 2 large overnight bags, a large tote, a box, & plus 3 large bags with new toys!
