Roadside Station
Let It Grow... Roadside Station is a family owned and operated Garden and Gift Center. Let us show you how and offer suggestions. We can help.
We are located near the Tri-Cities area, nestled in the foothills of the mountains. Have you ever wanted to start a garden or flower bed, but didn't know where to begin? Our selection varies:
From Hanging Baskets to Bedding Plants, with Garden starts and more.
I like to make Saddles,
I do these in all colors and shapes. Can usually have them ready in 1 - 2 days.
Give me a call or stop by and see what I have.
Have a good day.

It is time for fall garden planting....
We have Cabbage: Blue Dynasty, Stonehead and Huron.
Also Broccoli: Emerald Crown.
Mid week looks like the temps are going to be lower, can not wait.
I want to remind all of you thinking about planting perennials, trees, bushes etc. that the BEST time for this is Oct. and Nov. Plants may die above ground but the roots are growing deep which is what you want them to do.
Hope you all have a wonderful day...
Robin
If you've ever noticed when you were here we had a very large Walnut tree at the corner of the shop. For awhile it provided some much needed shade....
Last year noticed it was not coming out as much and this year it was almost gone, but we had lots of limbs...
Well it is gone now , Frank 'Hill Tree Service' came in Monday and during that down pour he cut and removed all of it except a section about 6' high that sticks out over the creek.
I thought that 6' section would be great for putting a planter on top of full of flowers!!!! (do you have to wonder why I wanted that?) Luckily he realized how hard it would be for me to reach it!!!! So he cut a step out of the base so I could reach up there.... I was so tickled when I found I could now reach the top and be able to plant and water.
After he finished and cleaned up (better than it was before he started) he was off and gone....
If you have any trees that need to come down give him a call. This tree was a little on the wicked side to remove.
Hope you all have enjoyed this much needed rain and that you have a Great Day.

Citrus - Lemon or orange rinds placed in a jar of water and let sit 24 hours. Spray solution on patio furniture, decks and steps...
Chemicals can hurt pets, family and plants... All natural equal parts cinnamon oil and clove oil. Spray around homes foundation, deck etc.
Mothballs placed around foundation they say works, but remember they are poisonous to children and pets....
