Oi. Well this March post is SUPER late lol. But, better late than never. One of these days, I’ll get right multiple months in a row lol.
So, what do these April showers bring us then? It’s Dancing Thyme! I do love a good pun, always, Appropriately part of The Southern Charm Collection, this serene and earthy green evokes the French Quarter of one of my favorite cities in the States (New Orleans, of course). It’s like The Ferris Wheel Press captured thyme in a bottle, poetic.
Next, the FerriTales line has another hit with Emerald Gardens. Featuring inspiration from one of my favorite tales as old as time, The Beauty and the Beast Collection added a beautiful leaf green ink with the most enchanting green/gold shimmer. I let mine sit too long and ended up with an incredible cluster of shimmer I mixed my ink into for the strongest impact. I might have swooned when I saw how it dried.
Last but never least, The Scribe Ballpoint Pen came storming back with a new favorite. Mine is the Madam Burgues and inspired by the manager of the local theatre from the FWP universe. She serves as a reminder to use all the luxury items now instead of waiting for the right time and is right on time since I bought a few refills. It’s always special to receive a ballpoint pen upgrade.
Andddd surprise! My Carousel Inkwell arrived in this care package, and knights of columbus, batman, is it amazing! Totally worth the wait, it’s like the coolest inkwell and a fidget toy all in one. My little neurodivergent heart couldn’t be more pleased with it. Now to figure out which ink should have first dibs inside it. Catch the poll in my stories to vote on your recommendation!
All four of these items are already live, so scamper on over and indulge.

February The Ferris Wheel Press post time! Of course my preferred hashtag, , didn’t work out because of the odd way February fell. So instead, I’m doing the final day of February which happens to be !
So then, what do we have this Black History (and my birthday) month? Let’s begin with a new calligraphy ink - Ultra Marina. Beautifully opaque, as all the calligraphy inks, this waterproof and lightfast deep periwinkle evokes waves and breezes. Is that spring I smell? 😉 Be sure to only use this ink with dip pens, brushes, and washable instruments only as it will clock anything with a feeder system. Also, it is NOT the same as Borrowed Blue. So don’t turn your nose up at that when you open it lol.
The next two go hand in hand: The Carousel Fountain Pen (Feathered Flight) and its accompanied Unfettered Flight fountain pen ink from the FerriTales (The Wild Swans) Collection. If you’ve followed me for awhile, you know I’m absolutely obsessed with the FerriTales line. It quite literally does not miss.
Feathered Flight is a fine or medium nib fountain pen with a standard size converter. The exterior pairs well with the light blue Unfettered Flight ink, which features an underlying gold/pink shimmer. This combo will make you look like you’re an expert at choosing complimentary luxurious art supplies.
All three of these incredible items launch tomorrow, March 1st. What a way to begin a new month!

It’s January 28th! For me, that would normally mean I’m popping up to celebrate J. Cole’s birthday lol. This time, I’m here to promote the release of one of the coolest lettering books I’ve ever received.
The Art of Playful Lettering by Dawn Nicole - Lettering Artist is so special to me because it represents the fullest of circles in my art life. 7 years ago, almost to the day (early February 2017), I finally had the courage to give calligraphy a shot after months of following Dawn. She’s the very first lettering artist I ever followed, almost a year before I started my lettering IG account ()
Now, I’m one of the 10 people she selected to promote her lettering book! And yes, of course I cried when she told me I made the cut. I only collab with people and businesses I genuinely rock with and Dawn is at the top of that list. This book is putting the fun of lettering back in my life and taking the pressure off creating again. Couldn’t ask for a better outcome.
Check out my post on Designs Real Quick for a GIVEAWAY associated with this book ☺️
Happy Launch Day Dawn Nicole Warnaar! I’m off to start your 30 Day Lettering Challenge 🥳
First The Ferris Wheel Press post of 2024! And I’ve decided on a new hashtag: . It’s much more realistic for me even though it requires me to be a week earlier than First Friday would. Mental gymnastics, but stick with me.
So then, what do we have this month? Let’s begin with The Sherry Sonata. It’s a warm, magenta berry colored ink with no sparkle required to make you feel like you’re getting an invite to the sexiest ball. Mask ideal, of course. Just in time for Mardi Gras 🥳
Next up: FerriTales The Wild Swans - Knitted Nettle. Deep teal with a beautiful gold/pink shimmer. Honestly, the FerriTales collection never misses. This entry to that incredible line is somehow mysterious and enigmatic, if ever an ink could be all of that.
Finally: it’s a 2024 Limited Edition. Aurorealis. Where do I even begin with this deep violet ink. The pink/gold shimmer (just like Knitted Nettle) is so subtle in places and bold in others will keep you coming back for more. Keep in mind, this one is limited. Catch it while you can! Embrace the future of fantasy and turn dreams into masterpieces.

Before we begin, let me know if y’all have a 2024 word of the year picked out. I’m in dire need of assistance.
Anyhoo, as *NSYNC always says, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! I’m here with my last The Ferris Wheel Press affiliate post of 2023, so humor me while I gush over the purple fountain pen ink that has me in a chokehold. It even sounds like a vintage book that should be in the Smuthood group I love so much (what an unexpected crossover): Harlequin Dreams. It is indeed dreamy, with the prettiest blue-based purple vibe. No shimmer necessary 💜
Rounding out the year is Radiant Rosewing, a rich pink based red (just like my favorite lipstick) but with the addition of gorgeous gold undertones. It’s from FerriTales (The Wild Swans) line and absolutely embodies the sentiment “Take life at one transformation at a time.” Do me a massive favor (as someone whose favorite holiday is New Year’s) and “fall in love with writing again” in 2024.
Link in the bye-o for the disc-ount, as ever. Toodles and don’t let winter get ya down! Also, I did indeed splurge during the last sale lol…my poor poor budget 😂
Another day, another The Ferris Wheel Press ink delight! I think it’s impossible to overstate how much I love the FerriTales Once Upon a Time line (been watching Loki so I make time jokes lol), and Plaited Gold Tress is no exception.
As if that weren’t enough, they had to go and make me fall in love with Frontenac Blue. Including with the name itself! I just love how these colors are a variation of my own blue and gold hair (see my last post for that).
Now I gotta know, because it’s the last month of 2023(!). What’s your favorite FWP ink of all? April showers is calling my name and I think I’m finally gonna answer 🥰 Link in the bye-o for the discount, as always.
Well well well. If it isn’t the woman who missed the September shipment. But don’t fret my pet, I bought it out of pocket and have it right here along with October! Redemption arc, don’t call it a comeback 😏
October leads the charge with Crystal Blue Legacy (to match my blue and gold hair) along with Sugar and Spite from the FerriTales Once Upon a Time line. Rich, gorgeous, intense jewel tones with just the perfect level of sparkle.
September wasn’t to be outdone with Hearty Harvest ink x Carousel fountain pen and the return of calligraphy inks. I decided to buy two of them because why not?! That Golden Gate was bound to be a stunner but, wow, did Black Masquerade take my breath away. Again with the slight sparkle in all of them.
As ever, lynx in the bye-o for the discount. Hope to see y’all splurging on these beauties just in time for the holidays! 💙💛
Lawd, I got behind again lol. Don’t be like me y’all lol, enjoy The Ferris Wheel Press in real time!
Regardless, if you’re late to the party like me, check out Cabernet on the Lake and FerriTales Once Upon a Time - Brilliant Beanstalk (along with the matching BB Carousel Fountain Pen!).
BB is described as having a champagne shimmer to compliment that beautiful light green ink. And C on the L genuinely looks like red wine, somehow. Just warm, burgundy loveliness. 😍 Both are right up my wine-loving alley!
So, slide through and use code: DESIGNS for my affiliate discount and catch up!
Welp, I missed because I was in New Orleans with my girls, then I missed second Friday because reasons lol.
But we back, this time with Poison Envy! Gotta say, this is one of my absolute favorites from The Ferris Wheel Press.
The Carousel Fountain Pen coordinates with this diabolical purple to green ink so well. Think Evil Queen with an unspoken hint of Ursula 💜💚

Seems surreal that yesterday was my last first day of , but it was! What an extraordinary honor it was to be selected as a mentor in 2021 and to go out with my 4th mentor semester (and 9th overall!) being the last live go at it. I was gonna step down after this semester but Becca beat me to it 😂
Whew. I’m gonna cry at some point, that’s a given. Such and incredible group of women I’ve have the genuine pleasure of working with. The Happy Ever Crafter really struck gold with this idea.
The most love to my fellow mentors, Kelsey for keeping us in check at all times, and this incredible community for coming back live for one last time. Your resident Hamilton fan did not throw away her shot. 💖
What’s in the bo # # , The Ferris Wheel Press?! It turns out, absolute gorgeousness.
So, I decided to adopt a slightly different swatch style going forward, and I’m in love. As this first picture probably depicts lol. And all the others 😍
Hampton Harbour Sage has the most delicately pretty shimmer and layers beautifully. Made me a genuine fan of sage for sure, and also inspired me to go touch grass 😂
FerriTales | Once Upon a Time is back, and Song of Scarlet is stunning. It’s so rich and dark, and has an almost green undertone to it. Brilliant.
Also, peep my ever-growing collection on the last pic. “Look at this stuff. Isn’t it neat?” 😌
As ever, hit up the link in my bye-o or use code DESIGNS for 10% off.
Which is your favorite?! I can’t choose, honestly. *red and green hearts*
Well obviously, this The Ferris Wheel Press combo of Malibu Blush ink and the color coordinated Carousel Fountain Pen were a hit because they sold out so quickly! I want to take a step back from everything and talk about why I purposely left this design blurry. It’s and this is an accidentally perfect depiction of how my brain works most days. Diagnosed with anxiety and depression plus meriting ADHD assessment…it keeps life interesting. I used to be good at masking it. Just…take it easy on each other, y’all.
