Greensboro College is excited to invite the campus and community to the 60th annual Jean Fortner Ward Lecture next Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Finch Chapel.

This year's guest lecturer will be Dr. Beth Allison Barr, professor, scholar, and best-selling author of "The Making of Biblical Womanhood: How the Subjugation of Women Became Gospel Truth."

The event is free and open to the public.

The Jean Fortner Ward Lecture Series was initiated in 1964 to bring outstanding speakers and lectures to the Greensboro College campus to address connections between faith and higher education.
