Happy International Women’s Day! We’re kicking off a month of honoring women and Women’s History Month with a very special signature cocktail named Margie’s Smash. This refreshing cocktail combines Maker’s Mark whiskey, our house made ginger syrup, blueberries, and lemon juice for a fun yet smooth drinking experience.

We named this cocktail after Margaret “Margie” Mattingly Samuels (1916-1985), who was instrumental in the bottle design and marketing of Maker’s Mark. In 2014, Margie was inducted into the Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame.

A dollar of each drink sold will go to WomenNC, which supports women’s education and research efforts!

These stools have been occupied nearly non-stop since we opened our doors last Tuesday. We continue to be wide-eyed with absolute thankfulness and amazement for the support and kindness the people of Greensboro have shown us in our first six days of business. Cheers to day 7 today marking one full week of business in this fantastic city! Monday-Friday we’re open from 4pm-2am. We’ll see you this afternoon!
