Each year, we looked for opportunities to celebrate and observe Kwanzaa in Greensboro, but we noticed there were few, if any that were located in our own community. While we take nothing from our sister cities and will do join forces with th

URGENT CALL to The Brotherhood of our Local and Global Community!!! The Mamas of Indigo's, aka The Greensboro Kwanzaa Collective, needs you!
We need your help providing scholarships for our retreat in support of the healing of Black Women.
The Healing Wheel Retreat is designed to provide a nurturing and supportive environment where women of color can find healing, growth, and community. With your donation, women who might not have had the financial means to attend will be able to benefit from the workshops, discussions, and activities that promote mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
We are still fundraising so we can provide scholarships for ten women who would like to attend but would need our support.
We are asking the men in our community to make an investment in the personal and collective healing of our community. By providing access to the Healing Wheel Retreat, you are helping to create a space where women can connect, rejuvenate, and gain the tools they need to thrive. It is through supporters like you that we can continue to offer such meaningful and impactful programs. The cost to support one attendee is $625, but no amount is too little. We would like to support all ten of the women who have requested support, so if you and your crew would like to collectively sponsor more women, that would be freakin'amazing!!!
Although registration closes tomorrow, if you make your pledge today with the intent to pay by August 15, we can do great work together! Remember, this is a tax free donation, and you can use the handy-dandy DONATE button on our website, www.indigoscac.org
When you donate, will include your name in our social media shout outs and place your name or your company logo on our promotional materials. If you would like to sponsor a specific woman, like your mother, sister, lover, friend, simply place her name in the notes section so we will know who your gift is intended to support.
Do it today, brothers! We ABSOLUTELY can't do it without you.
