Celebrate World Environment Day with Sunhouse Farm! Sunhouse Farm grows organic, no-till vegetables and you can find them at the Corner Farmers Market every Saturday from 8 am-12 pm.
Growing vegetables organically means resisting chemical inputs such as pesticides, herbicides, and chemically-derived fertilizers. Farming no-till works for farming without disrupting the soil structure to keep the network of soil microorganisms intact. Organically grown agriculture promotes soil health, reduces the pollution of soil, air, and water, is climate-friendly, and enhances biodiversity to allow animals like insects, birds, and wildlife to play a healthy role in the growth of food!
