Look at challenges differently
Well being Wednesday...Here we are hurtling towards March and hopefully the start of a bright new month. I actually think the start of a brand new year pulls us all in so many different directions. It brings so many challenges. It knocks at our beliefs, our thought processes and our ability to stand tall, but yet here we are. Our Mental health gets tested time and time again because we set ourselves so many expectations for the coming year. I for one started January with the intention of losing my excess blubber, but yet here I am just starting it yesterday and only with the bolster of some new medication. Life brings us so many challenges and some are so much harder than others. We have to give ourself credit for getting this far because it isn’t always easy. So many of us have endured the darkest of days, and no doubt many more of us will continue to do so. Sometimes it’s good to have a little help in building the strength we need to be able to push forward. We should never feel guilty for reaching out. It’s okay if you don’t always manage it, as long as you don’t forget to try your best to do it. There are no guarantees in life, so learning to tolerate uncertainty and work with our emotions is a really good way forward. You are stronger than you realise. We dilute our personal strength by allowing self doubt and our limiting self beliefs to stop us from trusting in our abilities. It’s time to remember your strength. Believe in yourself, be kind and do whatever makes you happy. Keep on keeping on.Caroline 💚

Repost: MINDSIGHT NEWS "People in the line of fire, who have been injured and displaced, or have had their loved ones killed in front of their eyes, will be grappling with the trauma from these experiences for years to come, many for the rest of their lives. And while it’s impossible to fully understand or address the horrific mental health consequences of a conflict that is still raging, MindSite News will continue our work to cover the mental health impacts along with the efforts to address those impacts."
