Create a stunning goddess from start to finish in this weekend workshop. Using an engaging intuitive process with various techniques and mixed media, students will create a large 4.5-foot goddess painting. No experience is necessary, and all skill levels are welcome. There will be 45-minute lunch breaks each day. Students may eat off-site or bring a bag lunch. Please review the materials list upon registration to provide ample time for preparation.

This past weekend was the perfect reminder of how much I love teaching. I’m always in awe of how each student embraces the intuitive painting process and how their paintings evolve into such unique and amazing expressive works of art.

My students never cease to amaze me with their goddesses! 🙌🏽✨

My last mixed media goddess workshop of the year is next Friday 13th !
We’ll be creating a stunning goddess with various techniques and mixed media in this one-day workshop. No experience is necessary, and all skill levels are welcome.

I’ll also be offering a painting and mixed media finishing studio day Dec 8th . Open studio for previous students to finish their paintings or work on a new project.

Just installed a bunch of goddess art blocks to accompany my “Keepers of the Wild” series at . They’re a mix of old and new goddesses in three different sizes ($45-75 each). The fine art prints are mounted on cradled birch wood panel, coated with several layers of sealant, and varnished with a UVLS protectant. Wired and ready to hang.

The show will be up until the end of the year. DM me if interested in purchasing.

I’ll be hanging out with some of my new goddesses tonight for the Third Friday Art Walk 6-8pm. Come say hello, grab a drink, get a tarot reading, and listen to some music at Arcana!

I have a few spots left for Intuitive Painting this weekend at The ArtsCenter in Carrboro! This workshop is great for both beginners and experienced artists. I provide a fun, safe, non-judgmental space for students picking up a paintbrush for the first time to artists needing a fresh new approach to their work and creative process.

It’s also my only workshop this year and probably the last one before they move into their new location. Super exciting and also bittersweet for me. I considered TAC my second home during my 12yrs there on staff, and it’s where my teaching career and close friendships were born. TAC holds a dear place for me. Would love for you to join me for this special weekend of painting.

Had the most amazing weekend making goddesses at the Eno Arts Mill with this group of students! It was such a joy to create with them and see their goddesses unfold and evolve so beautifully. Each one spoke to me in its own unique and profound way.

I finished this painting a few months ago and am finally ready to let it go to a new home. It holds a special place for me.

This piece sat unfinished in my studio for months. I knew the energy I wanted to convey but didn’t know how to create it yet, so I just set her out in plain sight in my studio and waited. And waited. Inspiration came one day out of the blue. I knew I wanted to use oil pastels and scrambled to find my nana’s old set—not even questioning the fact I hadn’t painted with them in over 20 years and that my nana’s were probably twice that old. I thought of her often as I painted with her oil pastels and pastel pencils. The blue heron image just came to me. Later, I discovered blue herons symbolize a spiritual awakening, inner wisdom, and self-awareness. They’re also a way for your spirit guides to send you support and motivation. Thanks, Nana. 💗

The Center for Visual Artists' annual 100 for 100 art fundraiser is this Friday!! 100 artworks donated by local artists (including my little owl pictured 🦉) for only $100 each. 🔥 The event is FREE, but if you wanna get first dibs on a piece of art, you can pay for early entry.

I’ll be there all evening processing art purchases and floating around the gallery. Come see me! It’s gonna be a lot of fun!! Affordable art, food, libations, and performances by Greensboro’s Collective GSO. And even a costume contest! All to support a deserving non-profit arts organization. 🎨

Adding the final touches! This painting is dear to my heart and one of those rare milestone ones for me. Looking forward to sharing the finished piece and the story behind it.
