This little gem from a year ago popped into my memories today and I smiled at how alive this listing became once staged. She was a farmhouse (the real deal) that had seen better days and .investor expertly and lovingly gave her an extra-ordinary chance to start all over— and we made sure she really showed off for her debut on the market! Houses have specs and square footage and location, but homes have personality and cozy little moments that speak to the right buyer.

Signing off after staging day has come and gone means I’ve put a lot of heart and soul into a listing I’ve come to love! It starts with the research, brainstorming and styling inside my head (often in the wee hours when I should be sleeping 😌) to finalize all the things— like floorplan and scheduling and inventory selection and smaller details that could capture the right buyer for a specific property address, price range and style. Then installation day comes, listing goes live, Open House happens and when all goes as we have expected and carefullly planned for—I get that awesome text that says that baby is under contract by the weekend 🥳🤭🤗. (Yay! Congratulations !)
Partnering with a boutique stager does more for your listing than create a catalog view of your floorplan and take the echo out of a showing with nice furniture that fills the space. We showcase a home’s best personality to find its best buyer…something kin to next level match.com 🥰. It’s a pretty fun gig and an honor, really, to put the cherry on the top of all the hard work and hopes of sellers with a tool that really can make a difference in the outcome of their home sale.

You may have all the space you need for everything you want in your home once you let go of certain ideas in your head 🧐. I am not a fan of ditching eating meals together around a table, but isn’t one dedicated eating area in a home enough? Tell me what you think of the “dining room!”
