Located a sideways valve buried in the dirt and no valve box housing. Then I found this interesting technique for a wire splice on the common wire 🤔 The customer said it actually worked for a little while after the concrete driveway extension project was completed. Replaced the splice with 3M grease packs and 14 gauge direct burial wire extensions. Solenoid was fried, so replaced that as well. Straightened the valve and placed a 10" round NDS valve box housing for maintenance access. You never know what you might find in this business! If it's we can fix it 🥳

During a recent visit to a customer requiring a spring start-up, our technician identified a significant leak in zone 1 located at the base of the mailbox. The property was newly constructed, and the irrigation system was installed before the mailbox was put in place. Following the inspection, our technician captured a photo of the leak and promptly shared it with the customer. Upon approval from the customer, the necessary repair was authorized.

Subsequent excavations uncovered a broken pipe adjacent to the concrete base of the mailbox. The damaged section of the pipe was carefully removed, and a NDS ProSpan telescopic repair fitting, sized at 1" PVC with a SCH 40 rating, was expertly installed along with a coupling to finalize the repair.

During a recent visit to a customer's residence for an irrigation system spring start-up and a full service comprehensive system inspection, a significant issue was encountered while activating the number 2 valve. There was a substantial release of water onto the concrete sidewalk from a damaged lateral line pipe. Following careful excavations, it was revealed that a fiber optic line ran through the damaged pipe. The fiber optic line was safely relocated, and the damaged PVC pipe was subsequently cut and replaced with a 1" NDS telescopic slip fix repair fitting and a socket coupling, providing an effective repair solution.
