Of course, they and the rest of their TotU friends are still looking for homes. Deacon has been in rescue for a while. He’s got a wonderful foster mom but he deserves his own home. Littermates were adopted years ago but yet, Deacon is still here.
We’ve mentioned before but we’ll say it again: we need fosters. At the very least. 3 dogs in boarding, especially one for as long as Peter Pan, is not sustainable. These sweet souls are looking for their forever in the short amount of time they get to make us humans happy. Please consider fostering or adopting. If you are able, donations help us as well.

Today for , we are featuring two of our long timer kitties, Monroe and Hannah. Monroe’s mom and brother were in foster care with him and have long been adopted, but Monroe still waits. Even his best buddy Smokey who was a long timer also got adopted. He is playful and will make a great addition to your family.
Hannah is a quiet girl but does great with other cats and dogs. She is ready to be a part of your home.

As a reminder, we currently have 3 dogs in boarding, which is draining us financially. We need you. Please consider donating, fostering, or best of all, adopting. All of our animals deserve the love of a forever home.

Alex the Great needs a new foster or foster to adopt situation immediately! Can you give him a safe place to land? He is currently located in the Greensboro, NC. This is an urgent situation! He has a spot to stay for Thanksgiving (11/25-12/3) if Thanksgiving plans are stopping your from volunteering. ❤️🐾

Here’s his profile - Hi everyone! My name is Alex. Some of you may know me as " Alex The Great" of Greensboro. Well, that was my former life. Let me give you a bit of my history. Just a few, short months ago, I was living on the streets of Greensboro with my former owner. We were homeless. Needless to say, food was scarce and I became very thin. Some concerned citizens contacted Animal Services about my plight. After some time, my owner surrendered me so that I could get the nutrition and care that I so badly needed. After a month in Guilford County Animal Services I was nursed back to a healthy weight. They then transferred me into foster care where I have been learning inside manners, polite behavior, leash walking and commands. This is what my foster parents have to say!!!! Alex is a very good boy! He is super sweet, not to mention handsome, and loves to give kisses! He is a great swimmer and would love his new parents to take him to the lake or pool for a dip! He enjoys a nice, long walk and is good on a leash. If he catches a scent, he's on it, but is corrected very easily. Although he is still learning his inside manners, he would love to cuddle on the couch with you, but does great just chillin in his crate as well. He is a 5-year-old healthy boy weighing approximately 50 lb. He is heartworm negative and up-to-date on all of his vaccinations. Alex would do best in a home where he has a lot of human contact and love. He can be anxious when separated from his people which is not surprising due to him being with his past owner 24/7. He would do best with older children as he is still very eager at meal time and treat time. He is still learning his socialization skills but is good with other dogs in low-key settings. We are unsure about cats. Overall, Alex is a sweet, loving, affectionate boy who is eagerly waiting to meet his forever family!
