With a heavy heart, we at Golden Spiral Studios have to share the news that Sean Carey passed away over the weekend. Sean was a strong leader and a very proud father of two daughters. These past few years were rough, but he battled it out with composure and high spirits while working hard, surrounded by loved ones. Sean founded Golden Spiral in 2009, and over the years has put together an amazing team of artists. He established himself and Golden Spiral as among the most well known names in the industry statewide, working with nearly three decades of experience. He was a friend to everybody he brought into the shop, and helped us all grow to our fullest potential while having fun at work. Thank you so much, Sean. None of us would be where we are without you. Golden Spiral will remain a staple tattoo shop in Greensboro, where we will happily handle all your tattoo and piercing needs. Our clientele keeps us going, and we will continue to do what we love in honor of Sean.
