Friday was a bittersweet day in our Greenville office as we celebrated the retirement of Teresa Porter, who has been a beloved member of the TPM and ColorLab family for 26 remarkable years.
Teresa’s journey with us began in the accounting department, but her passion and expertise soon led her to the ColorLab, where she played a pivotal role in developing the processes and procedures that are still integral to our operations today. Her dedication and leadership have left an indelible mark on both our team and our clients.
Over the past few weeks, many of her former colleagues and clients stopped by to share their gratitude and best wishes, a testament to the profound impact she’s had on everyone around her. We are at a loss for words to fully capture the depth of her contributions and the void her departure leaves.
We are eternally grateful for Teresa’s unwavering commitment to the TPM mission and her warm, inspiring presence. While we will deeply miss her, we are excited for her as she embarks on this new chapter of her life. Here’s to a well-deserved retirement filled with joy and relaxation! 🎉❤️

A: I'm inspired by genuine people. Those that are who they are no matter where they are. They have the same caring personality and demeanor no matter the environment or individuals in that environment.
Q: What advice would you give to someone starting out in your field?
A: Figure out what about a career in Tech or Engineering they enjoy the most and to pursue that thing. The thing that they would still enjoy if there was no pay involved.
Q: How do you spend your free time?
A: I volunteer with a First Robotics team year-round and I enjoy trying nice restaurants and new vacation destinations with my family.

A: I am inspired by the process of learning something new and the challenge of solving problems. The thrill of gaining new knowledge and the satisfaction that comes from overcoming obstacles and finding solutions drive me to keep pushing forward.
Q: What advice would you give to someone starting out in your field?
A: Don’t wait for somebody to hand you something, you are all you need to be successful. Take the time to learn and try different things, and finally, showing up on time consistently is half the battle.
Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
A: I love to spend my time hiking, kayaking, and generally being outdoors. I like to visit and spend time in small towns, especially in the mountains. I enjoy finding and tasting new craft beers and experiencing different breweries. Finally, spending quality time with my family is incredibly important to me.

Last Friday, we came together for our Q2 Townhall to review our achievements from the first half of 2024, map out our goals for the rest of the year, and enjoy a delicious breakfast together. ☕🥐
As we dive into Q3 and Q4, we’re filled with enthusiasm for what’s ahead at TPM! Our focus remains on delivering exceptional experiences for our customers and keeping them at the heart of everything we do.

This week are looking to our original division here at TPM, the Reprographics department!
The Print Machine was founded in 1973 by Jerry Cooper as a blueprint printing shop. Since then we have evolved into the company we are today through numerous transformations and the dedicated efforts of our team. The reprographics, or printing, team remains a cornerstone of our services at TPM, continuing to offer wide format and large order printing services across all three of our locations.
At our Columbia print room, Karl Harman leads the charge. Karl's journey with TPM began during his college internship, and he has since returned to oversee operations at our Columbia location, where his expertise ensures top-notch quality and service for our clients. His unwavering passion for printing shines through in every interaction.

Q: Who inspires you?
A: My Dad. Never met a man tougher and smarter, if not a little stubborn.
Q: What advice would you give someone starting out in their career?
A: Learn literally everything. Doesn’t matter if it’s complicated, or if it’s not your responsibility- learn it. It doesn’t matter where in your life’s journey you are, there is always more to learn. Wake up each day and best what you did the day before.
Q: How do you like to spend your free time?
A: Currently wedding planning seems to be my newest hobby, but when I’m not doing that I’m watching movies, reading books, traveling, cooking.

A: Our customers inspire me. Every day is different. I get to work with brilliant individuals, from many different industries, to help them evaluate cutting edge technology that will help them improve their business processes and their products. And what’s not to like about seeing how things are made.
Q: What advice would you give to someone starting out in sales?
A: Don’t be afraid to fail. Control the controllable. Surround yourself with people that will push you and help you grow.
Q: How do you like to spend your time away from work?
A: My wife and I have four children, two Great Danes, & chickens. I enjoy woodworking, a good DIY home improvement project, and if I can find time, I’ll brew some beer.

Chelsea came to TPM after a major career move. In her first year with TPM she was awarded the Technical Solutions Consultant of the Year and holds the TPM record for the fastest completion of the SOLIDWORKS CWSE certification. Q: Who inspires you?
A: I know this may sound crazy but my dog, Brady, is a constant source of inspiration for me to be more compassionate, patient and forgiving - I feel like he's always teaching me something from his endless enthusiasm for life, and his ability to love unconditionally and forgive easily.
Q: What career advice do you wish you had received sooner in life?
A: Embrace change and don't be afraid to take risks, both personally and professionally. What may initially seem like a daunting decision could lead to incredible opportunities and personal growth. Remember, it's never too late to try something new and pursue your passions. Trust in your abilities and be open to exploring different paths - you never know where they may lead you.
Q: How do you like to spend your free time?
A: If I'm not at work, you'll most likely find me outside. Whether I'm giving it a go at a new sport (I finally tried pickleball and I may already be hooked!), biking the Swamp Rabbit Trail, relaxing on Lake Hartwell, or hanging out with my dog, outside is my happy place!
