Thank you Rep. Patrick Haddon for making this trip possible for these kiddos. They are so excited and we are so thankful!

Attention FFA members and parents!

We will be holding our 2nd annual FFA Banquet and Awards Ceremony this Saturday, May 18th from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Berea FFA Alumni are invited as well :) If your student is a FFA member, they will be receiving a pin and certificate!

All grade levels and their families have been given a category of things to bring. The list is below.
Seniors: Drinks (tea, lemonade, canned sodas, etc.)
Juniors: bite sized sweets (cheesecake bites, brownies, cookies, etc.)
Sophomores: sides (macaroni salad, potato salad, etc.), fresh fruit &/or fresh veggie trays
Freshmen: Cutlery, plates, bowls

We hope to see you there!

With the final day of the sale Saturday, we are offering a deal.

Fill a tray, take it away for $20. $20 regardless of the contents as long as it fits in the tray, like the one pictured below.

We can't wait to see you from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.!

We are ready for y'all!

Monday: All employees at Berea High get first dibs on plants.
Tuesday: All employees at neighboring schools can buy plants from 1-4.
Wednesday- Saturday: We're open to the public.

Our students and FFA members have been working very hard to provide you quality plants this spring. We have so much to offer this year and we are so excited to help you start the spring garden of your dreams!
I will post a full list of plants, prices, and approximate quantity closer to the date.

We will ALWAYS have someone at the greenhouse when we are selling. If you do not see anyone out there during the time of the sale, please be patient and wait for us to come outside. The greenhouse will remain locked if we are not outside.

It has come to my attention that there was a $20 fill your car day on the final day of the sale in previous years. We will NOT be having one of those days this year. We are sorry for any inconvenience but we also need to earn enough money so our students can finally experience FFA State Convention!!

Today our students got the opportunity to learn about different methods of housing chickens, maintaining chicken habitats, identifying eggs based on their color/size, and so much more!

Thank you to the Muse Family for your patience with this group of students. We look forward to coming out again!

We had such an amazing day today!

Muse Egg Farm/Egg Well farm would like to say a Big Thank You to Berea High School FFA for coming out to our farm helping us on farm today. What a true blessing for us to have these young men and women on farm today. We was super impressed with the characters of these young men and women.

Here are some pictures of our time at Ryhu Ranch yesterday! We had the best time!

We had so much fun learning how to properly maintain goat living areas, trim hooves, halter heifers & cows and so much more!
What a different experience for these students. We will definitely be back!

Throwback Thursday! After our informative and fun officer and advisor collaboration meeting with Travelers Rest High School Agriculture & FFA, Berea High FFA tried something new for member bonding.

Officer Team bonding!

Our FFA officers were tasked with the construction of a new light table for the Landscape Design course. They had a lot of fun putting it together!

Here are some landscape students using the table 🤗 They loved being able to trace landscape designs with ease!

This was their first time in official dress! Don't they look so professional 🥺

The Agriscience and Technology students recently created their own plants by using different craft materials and their knowledge of plant anatomy.

They enjoyed learning about the anatomy of plants differs between a monocots and dicots.

They really enjoyed making a mess as well 🤪

Today we held our very first FFA meeting!

We started our meeting with opening ceremonies and inductions into respective offices. The members really enjoyed seeing and participating in opening and closing ceremonies! They enjoyed the nacho bar and lemonade making more, though!

We can't wait for our next meeting. See y'all next month!
