In case you missed it, Clay got us tickets to fly in a helicopter around Greenville! We flew over Paris Mountain, Furman University, and Saluda Lake, ending our flight over Downtown Greenville. It was the sweetest gift and I loved every minute of it.

I spent the summer reading Little Women, tearing up in almost every chapter and soaking in every lesson Marmee taught. Maybe I’m extreme but I loved the genuine words used to describe every day life. It will forever be one of my favorite books and one day I will read it again.
& I don’t know about you, but a bundle of tulips brings me so much joy. They are my favorite flower and I dream of going to Europe and running through the tulip fields one day 🤩

as a photographer, I believe it’s important to capture growth and change through families. And to have that every year would be such a neat thing to look back on!

The Green Family was so much fun to work with and we laughed the whole time! If we weren’t bribing children with chocolate, we were chasing all 7 dogs around in the yard to get them out of the pictures 😂 I can’t wait to show you more of their family and some of those sweet moments 💕

Here’s to you, 2021!

this creative journey has been one of a lot of challenges, ups and downs, and so many exciting moments. I’m so grateful for your support. I cannot say enough how grateful I am to be on this journey and pursuing this passion more and more each day.

Some days it’s like ripping a bandaid off and going against everything I’ve ever known, and other days it’s like I know exactly what I’m doing and have done it for years. 😂 but isn’t that what it feels like taking a risk???

Grateful for all that the Lord provided for me in 2021 & I cannot wait to see what 2022 has in store. So, like I said at the beginning of this year, NEW YEAR, SAME ME! Just one day older :)

Here’s to a year full of good health, more creativity, and many many blessings. May your year be full of those things as well 💕

took a trip to the mountains a few weeks ago and still can’t get over the colors and light bouncing around the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Light is one of my favorite things to capture - how it moves, how it highlights, how it enhances. Just one of those small things that fills me up 😊

what’s up friends! I’ve been MIA on this account for a while now (fall is SUCH a busy season 🙂). Between my job and everything else going on, I’ve not had a second to stop and think. But I wouldn’t change it & am so grateful for family and friends that push me to keep going!!

With that said, I wanted to share with you my re-brand for AKCreative Co and give you a little insight to my design.

✨ my inspiration photo for the brand and backdrop for the first shot is of Lake Michigan from the Chicago side. One of my favorite cities, one of my favorite pictures I’ve taken - it had to be the inspo!!

✨ branding colors were pulled directly from my shot & say “modern and trendy yet simple and professional”… atleast that’s what it means to me!

✨ the secondary logo (AK with beige circle) came from the idea of a hanging sign outside of a store front. A girl can dream, right?!

✨ I named my “side hustle” Creative Co. so that I can use any expression of creativity and not be bound to one thing under my name. I’m excited to keep trying new things and bring you guys along for the ride 🤩
