Not keen on instructing? Orville, Of course they prefer 121/91 experience. If you could hire some one with actual airline experience would you? That said it’s not required not is an ATP. You simply need to meet the ATP minimums hence why they list the specific times. There are btw other Regionals out there. Adam

Advice for highschool students Gabriel, The answer is the same for most future careers. Do well in HS and continue on to college. The flight training will come later. Adam

"April managed to be an easy month and I had arguably the most unique flight of my career so far. The totality of the solar eclipse passed through the DFW area on the afternoon of the 8th and I traded into a trip with a flight that departed around the same time. Through pure luck and timing, we rotated out of DFW right as the totality came over the airport. It was certainly strange going from mostly daylight into darkness with no panel lights on, I struggled to find some of the panel buttons initially :sweat_smile:. There was a very thin broken cloud layer that we broke through, which allowed us to see the glow of the sun 360° around the patch of darkness we were in. Needless to say, it was an experience I'll never forget and certainly something only a small handful of pilots will encounter in their careers."
