In Charleston’s streets, where shadows meet,
Gentrification’s march, a steady beat.
The homes we knew, the lands we tilled,
Now echoes past, our dreams unfilled.

New faces, new places, rising high,
But where’s the heart, the soulful cry?
Our roots run deep, through soil and sand,
Yet progress sweeps away our land.

Langston Hughes:
I hear you, brother, in every stride,
A tale as old as time, our pride.
From Harlem's night to Charleston's day,
Our people's strength won’t fade away.

Let them build their towers tall,

My message was Black Unity and Solidarity. Without it, economic and political power are only dreams in our head. Without it, our sons and daughters will face the darkestest of days ahead. Do it now, before the Opportunity to fight back is dead. Every group is is uniting around their culture- Whites, Asians, Indians- We must do so as well. Time will tell, head my advice or subject your decedants to hell.
