Kimberly Renee’ is a sculptor of metal specializing in the ancient process of chasing and repousse’. This technique involves chiseling out a design on a piece of flat metal, raising the metal from the back using hammers and chisels to create levels of depth and volume, and lastly, using more chisels to refine details and add texture.

In case you haven’t heard, the Greenville Jewelry Invitational is now the Greenville Designer Jewelry Show! — In addition to the new name, we also have a new location, the Greenville Center for Creative Arts! — We also made a few other changes including opening the show to NC and SC artists, selecting artists through a jury process, a new website and adding a VIP preview opening night.
