This one is a doozy to post, but I don't want to leave anyone hanging. Today is Day 7 of my hospital stay - I've been battling a neurological issue and have various loss of sensory and motor skills, mostly in my hands, arms, and torso. I have a good medical team, but they just can't say what the next few weeks, months, and maybe years, look like for me.

Once this attack is under control, I can start Physical/Occupational therapy to try to regain back as much as I could do from before. Thus, I need to focus everything I can into re-learning to write my own signature again, holding my neice, brush my own hair, and petting my dogs when I get home! (Just a thousand tiny things I took for granted.) Decorating cookies will stay on the long term goal list, and I hope when I crush therapy, you'll have me back. 💜

It's been some TIME since we've posted (see what we did there?) but we're still here, and still crafting cookies! We seem to start each new year with some personal challenges and time set to warp speed, but we hope to catch up on posting all of our cookie creations soon. We appreciate all of you that have checked in on us, and for letting us be a part of your celebrations!

We'll start by showcasing this TWELVE INCH clock cookie that we learned from the queen of icing florals, Kristen Stringer (of Kristen’s Cookies fame). It's got all the things - isomalt clock hands, gum paste scroll work, and of course, lots and lots of florals.

If you've followed us for a bit, you may know we LOVE Steel Magnolias around here. (Our littlest family member is named Truvy!)

So this Steel Magnolias themed Bridal Shower set was meant to be! We loved the challenge of making a cohesive set to celebrate the bride to be, but also pay homage to our favorite 6 Southen Belles.

We made the big screens at CookieCon FOUR times this year! It's always amazing to see our creations mixed in with those from the world's most talented sugar artists, and Food Network stars.

We love every set we send out the door, but seeing this baby shower set for our tiny NICU Warrior, pop up that big screen, was extra special.

Happy Labor Day, and Happy Start of Clemson Football Season! 🤣 We're celebrating with the Patron Saint of Clemson Football, Dabo Swinney, in cookie form.
