We are only ONE DAY AWAY from welcoming our next artist! Tomorrow, November 4th, Sift Gallery will display "Time Sensitive" (Works from '20-'21), from local artist Enid Williams.
With kinetic circles and colorful particles interwoven in a multitude of visual scenarios, artist Enid Williams is often influenced by time — both how it's represented in her work and how the viewer may experience it when engaging with her art.
A former Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant recipient (which recognized her as "an artist of significant achievement") Williams received her M.F.A. in painting from Kent State University in 1996 and her B.A. in studio art from the University of Toledo in 1992. Her work has been exhibited at the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh, PA, the Columbus Museum of Art in Ohio, the Butler Institute of American Art, Youngstown, OH, the State Museum of South Carolina, the Greenville County Museum of Art... and now, we're very excited to announce the opening of Williams' latest work "Time Sensitive" at our own SIFT Gallery!
We are excited to welcome our next artist, Enid Williams, and her latest body of work, "Time Sensitive" (works from 20-21) on display November and December at Sift Gallery.
