Check out the build video on this in my profile. This was one of my most satisfying projects.

Exterior box is made of African mahogany (Sapele) and spalted ambrosia maple from
The interior box is made from Spanish cedar

It features 4 sided Grain flow with a raised panel on the outside. The inside has movable partitions to custom separate items, and the top tier is a slidable tray to allow access to the bottom.

Special thanks to for letting me model the box with some awesome ci**rs!

Last Christmas, I made these folding adirondak chairs on my CNC last Christmas, but wasn't able to apply finish in time. I was able to apply finish this weekend, and holy cow finished sapele looks amazing!

Go check out the build video a little ways down in my profile.

This is a nice little trivet I put out on the CNC. Can't wait to get it to it's owner tomorrow!

Just finished a credit card tile holder for another local small business. I love how it turned out!

As my channel grows, I want it to be increasingly about helping people learn how to increase their skill level on CNCs.
This bathymetric lake was done by someone I helped walk through the whole process from scratch. I LOVE how it came out.

I'm looking forward to helping many more people in the future!

Someone who ordered on my website reached out and asked if I could partition one of the salt cellars. I have wanted to mess with this for a little while, so I went ahead and made it for him.

I love how it turned out!

Just water popping some salt cellars before the final sanding. I'll be having a special edition Salt Cellar made of Sapele put up on the website shortly!

Jason at Sport Class Customs surprised me with one of his best selling products, and it's absolutely gorgeous. This desktop drink and notepad holder is made of gorgeous mesquite wood. I have been using it with all my drinks for the last day and can't stop

Also and are doing a collaboration for charity. Check out our live on Tuesday @ 5:30 PM EST to see what it's all about!

I just wanted to say thank you to for buying one of my whiskey smokers! I'm a big fan of his videos, and love anything dog related. I was able to add in a small personalized logo on his order.

Can't wait to get personalized functionality up on my site!

Happy Valentines Day everyone! This was a personal project for my wife. She has wanted a wooden pizza peel for a long time, so I figured I would make thus as a small thank you!

Fun fact, she drew the logo herself and made all of the digital files. I altered this one a little to commemorate the day.

02/14/2023

These are available on my site without the birds! This is an example of how I would like to personalize them in the future. I'm working on coding it in to my site, and hope to have it added next month!

Here is an example of a batch custom gift a business requested. These were a gift to the employees of a company. Each one is a city street outline map of different areas of significance across the globe. They were Christmas ornaments that went up on their trees.

This is a fun walnut end grain board I made as a gift a while back. The photos show the progression!

Photos from Knot a Wood shop's post 02/01/2023

Available for sale on my website this Friday! Check out the video in my profile about the benefits of this salt cellar! The body is carved from all end grain walnut, and the lid attaches with only magnets for easy cleaning and a very satisfying click into place!

This was a very fun tray. I made it at the behest of my wife. She wanted it to be slightly tapered and have the circle on the top.

This was before I got my CNC, so I had to hand cut the template and use a flush trim router bit to shape it. It took WAY longer than it would now.

Check out the tutorial videos in my profile! This is a depth map (bathymetric map) Conneaut Lake. I made it custom for someone who sold their home on the lake they loved to be on.

While these maps are so fun to make. They are extremely time consuming at this stage in my shops development, and that doesnt even take design time into account. I can't wait for a say where I can make more!

Photos from Knot a Wood shop's post 01/28/2023

Check out the build video on these! They were really fun to make and turned out great!

The wood is local walnut with a maple accent strip. The holes are custom fit to the glasses so that they fall through the bottom but catch on the way down! I love how stable the glasses are!

Ever want to add a little flavor to your beverage? Consider a whiskey smoker. This has been one of my most popular items for a reason.

Just fire in your desired wood chips (mine come with white oak) and let it sit as long as you want. A quick blast will give a smokey flavor, while letting it sit in there will ad a little more flavor.

Photos from Knot a Wood shop's post 01/26/2023

Check put the build video for this in my profile! This is not just your basic chess board. It is regulation size end grain walnut and cherry. The build is worth the watch!

Photos from Knot a Wood shop's post 01/24/2023

This is a circular serving tray I made from local cherry. This one was before I had the CNC, so I used a table saw to cut the angles and a circle jig on my Router to round the walls and cut the base. Fun little project!

Photos from Knot a Wood shop's post 01/23/2023

Flip through the pictures to see how this started. This spalted ambrosia maple serving tray is one of my favorites of all time, and was given as a closing gift for a home. The figuring in it is absolutely amazing!

Photos from Knot a Wood shop's post 01/22/2023

This is one of my favorite projects. This was a custom made secret compartment humidor made from spalted ambrosia maple and walnut.

The grain flows around the corners, and the secret compartment is well hidden in the trim! I loved making this one and can't wait to make one better!

Photos from Knot a Wood shop's post 01/21/2023

Should I put these back up for sale? I have a ton of this very unique spalted ambrosia maple, and have been wondering what to do with it!

My wife pointed out that I don't do enough posting of my finished products. When she's right, she's right. I'll start putting some of my items up each day for you all to catch!
