Looking for Crane Install Crewman

The installer is expected to be as knowledgeable on the er****on, rigging & mechanical aspects of cranes and hoists.

Manual heavy lifting, pulling, and pushing of steel, and other components.

Operation of power tools: saws, impact drills, Drills, etc.

Follow direction of direct supervisor.
Work out of town/overnight for at least a week at a time and possibly more.

Must be able to travel extensively.

Overhead Crane & Hoist Service Technician Job Description

Job Desc:
5+ year experience a MUST and be hoist/crane certified
A field service technician will provide quality installation, inspections, maintenance and repair service for hoist & crane equipment. A field service technician will also uphold the highest level of professional integrity and ethics as required to instill customer confidence & continued success in service.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
*Troubleshoot, repair & inspect overhead cranes & hoists.
*Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment.
*Support customers by effectively interfacing with customer & office in repairing equipment as needed.
*Evaluate & make recommendations regarding required repairs for customers.
*Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods & techniques; and recommending system improvements.
*Service overhead crane systems by performing quality installations; performing OSHA/ANSI equivalent inspections; documenting and completing warranty work; troubleshooting breakdowns; performing preventive maintenance; and responding to repair calls.
*Document service & installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklist.
*Builds & maintains customer confidence by maintaining good response time, informing customer of problems, and completing the job in a timely manner.
*Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, appearance, & organization in all areas.
*Must have electrical experience and be able to troubleshoot electrical problems.

COMPENSATION AND HOURS
Competitive Hourly Pay

Hours per week: 40
Shift: Day/Weekends/Emergency Calls
