Gardening Friends…Can anyone tell me what these things are? Every leaf on my Meyer lemon tree has at least one. And they’re all over the concrete surrounding the pot! Strangely, the Meyer lemon tree next to it has nothing😱. So far they aren’t moving. The leaves are still wet. We had heavy wind and rain yesterday evening.

Making time for lavender this week at Elf Leaf Farm…and my own herb garden. I learned that my lavender bush is growing like crazy because it’s next to the hot driveway! I learned that you need to cut each stem just above the bushy part. And I learned to NEVER EVER let mine run amuck again!!! So far I’ve collected 8 bundles of 50 stems, and am not even close to finishing😱But they look beautiful and smell heavenly, so I just can’t give it up😊 💜

And that’s a wrap! Tom and I were honored to host our 46th consecutive Air Force squadron reunion (AKA Bully Beef) this week in Greenville,SC. It’s hard to say goodbye to our 68 old friends. So I’ll simply say “See you Next year in NOLA!”
