Palmer Johnson Enterprises has acquired Greenville, South Carolina-based Continental Engines, LLC, a leading distributor specializing in diesel engines and generators.

For the past 55 years, Continental Engines has been expanding in the industrial engines and power generation markets on the East Coast. The Continental team has worked diligently, and I am proud of how far they have brought this business. Topp and Screed will be utilizing our Hatz engines in their TS7000, TS6000, TS5000 and TS4000 machines! Topp and Screed offers spares and servicing nationwide, and we are certified for warranty work!

“Our Hybrid application with Hatz Diesel engine was featured on four new applications with Sherman & Reilly at the Utility Expo in Louisville, KY.”
Fun Facts about our Hybrid Application:
•Single cylinder diesel engine with a battery pack does what a much larger diesel engine does.
•Operates almost silently, great feature for metropolitan residential areas.
•Compact enclosure with fuel tank included.
•Capable to run on battery power, diesel power, or both.
•Run time on batteries can be all day or longer, depending on usage.
•Recharge time approximately 4 hours.
•Very few hydraulics which means less maintenance and more responsive operation.

Yesterday, we were awarded the first Hatz 3H50 engine right from Mr. Wolfram Hatz himself as a gift for being the leading distributor in North America for 3H50 engine sales.
