These sweet children excitedly showed me their pumpkins they'd picked at the farm earlier that day. This location is special to this family and I love photographing them here as they grow!

It was a bright but very chilly Spring day for this session that was a Christmas gift for their parents. I always love extended family sessions like this because of the sweet interactions between Grandparents and Grandchildren.

For the month of love, I'm going to be sharing images from my 2018 sessions that I loved.

It was so fun to capture the Tiller family as they welcomed little Benjamin last winter. He is so loved by his family. His older siblings were delightful to talk with and I loved that they showed me all their toys and told me about their favorite things.

Hi! I've been pretty quiet around here lately so I'm jumping on the Friday Introductions bandwagon to shake things up. If we've never met, I'm Michelle and today I'm going to share 3 things about how my love for photography and this business started.

1. My grandma gave me a 35 mm film camera as a child. All of my spending money was spent at Eckerd's developing film. She also encouraged me to take the leap and buy my first digital DSLR and make a go of this business. What would we do without our greatest encouragers pushing us to do try things we're terrified of?

2. I worked on yearbook staff in college and friends started asking me to photograph their weddings and engagements.

3. I've learned I much prefer photographing children and families as I love being silly and incorporating games to make your photography experience fun and easy.

So tell me now, how did you land in your profession? Who encouraged you to follow your dreams?

I think we're all going to need some sweet and snuggly babies in our news feed today! I love how Samuel's mommy brings creative and personal touches to their sessions. This was her monkey as a child.

These children were so much fun to work with! They listened so well and were so sweet. I love how much they love their little brother! Congratulations to the Waggoner family on your sweet new arrival!
