We love a good farm day at Mill Village Farms! We are passionate about volunteering at a local community garden, where we get to contribute to a greener, healthier, and more vibrant community. October wraps up our "Fall Farming Initiative" with .village, and what a wonderful experience this has been! Mill Village Farms provides access to healthy produce for our community and also serves as a job source and food system educational resource. At every turn, we enjoy supporting this innovative organization!

It's always important to take a break to celebrate some wins! 🏆 Inc. 5000, Fastest Growing Companies in SC, Best Places to Work in SC, and two milestone months so far this year. But most of all, we just enjoy each other's company.

A lot goes on behind-the-scenes to put on the Village Launch Market. This month, ACS partnered with Mill Village Ministries to assist with setup. But there's more to it than setup: professional mentors work with vendors to make connections. Vendors themselves spend hours getting their products ready for sale. And Mill Village Ministries and its volunteers work to make the event fun and sustainable. There are a lot of hands on deck!

The monthly Village Launch Market features minority & women-owned start-ups plus live music, food trucks, family fun and lots more.

If you're in Greenville, SC, be sure to check it out on October 2 in West Greenville on Burdette Street & Pendleton Street (between the West Greenville Plaza & Flat Iron Building). The event runs from 12PM to 4PM.

There is a lot to be said for high schoolers who are already following their career passion and interests. ACS has partnered with the Enoree Career Center to give some much-needed professional exposure to the manufacturing industry. Today, we had the opportunity to meet some really sharp students and show them around our facilities. S/o to Greenville County Schools and GCS Work-Based Learning for helping us to make this happen!

May is "ACS Cares Month." We, at ACS, like to remind ourselves that we are here on this Earth to serve others. While we regularly seek to to donate our time, talent, and treasure to organizations and our churches across our local community, we felt like we needed a concentrated month.

In doing so, we have partnered with Mill Village Ministries , who has a really incredible mission that supports a variety of people in our community through some very diverse initiatives.

This month, you'll find ACS employees doing things like working on urban farms, fixing bikes, participating in professional development programs, and aiding in food share programs.

We believe that regularly serving others is contagious. We think this mindset translates to those who we interact with on a daily basis. And we think that we (and in turn, our vendors and customers) are are better off when we take the time to serve others.

There's nothing better than showcasing your people. Recently, we got to put together a video that encapsulates what makes ACS so special.
