Getting after this week after the long weekend. The beast is getting some ac work, just finished up the turbo on the Golf, Cory is in the middle of an AC job, and doing a pre buy inspection on a Q5. We got a lot to get done. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Temps are coming down. Fall is just around the corner.

Customer came in for an oil change and left with a smile. Buffed out what looks like a little bit of contact with some red brick. It's the little things that make the difference. Took less than 5 minutes to help her out.

Business as usual at the shop. Installed and coded an abs module this morning with a vacuum pump reseal. Now working on a timing chain update. Cory is in pretty deep on a TDI wagon. Jetta TDI next on the list for a South bend clutch kit. Hope everyone is having a good week.

My old Golf R has always been in good hands. it couldn't have found a better home. Anthony has turned it into a monster.

designed a really great set of rotors. Upgraded to a bigger rear brake rotor on the TTRS. The bracket came color matched as well. After pulling the wheels to clean the car up for Eurofest. I was impressed that the rotor hats had no corrosion and still looked like new. Been wanting to match the front and rear anyway. Great upgrade for better stopping power, better cooling, and better looking brakes.

New code for me on this one. Audi partslink showing the evap sensor on top of the gas tank. Figured it out though. Evap sensor open circuit code. Has a sensor right after the purge valve hiding under the heat blanket. Customer still has dealer warranty, but ask if we would just fix it instead. Happy we could solve the problem and save the customer some money.

If you are paying to have a job done or doing a job. Do you clean up the gasket mating surface to make sure you get a good seal when putting parts on or do you replace the parts and slap it back together to get paid? I personally can not and refuse to just put it back together. Honestly only one way to do a job and that's to do it right. This is how we try to do all work that comes through this shop. I've seen it done the wrong way by other shops and it bothers me to have to charge a customer for something someone else should have done right the first time. It's not fair to customers. Especially with the price of living these days. Hope everyone has a great week! So if you don't get to see me when you come by or at car meets, drives, etc. Just know it's not because I don't want to get out and be social. We are just busy and I've been working long hours.

Getting Zoe ready for a track day. She bought a GTI and is getting ready to get addicted to a new hobby. I like the blue. Tried to trade Holly out of her blue TTRS, but she likes blue as well. Headed out tomorrow for Eurofest so I'm sticking around to get some work done.

My work load at 10:30. Tiguan oil change. Jetta oil change, tire rotation, inspection. Jetta wagon rear brakes, cabin+air filters, sunroof leaking. Jetta TDI timing belt and water pump. Beetle Starter. Finished the Tiquan from yesterday, Jetta oil change, and AC diagnostic already this morning. You can look at it as a hard day or a blessing. I say it's a blessing and we get after it. Hope everyone has a good day

Getting ready for Eurofest and getting started on Tiquan oil leaks to get him back on the road. Staying busy. Cory is doing a TDI thermostat and we have 2 more TDI timing belts tomorrow. Along with a track prep for another one of our good customers and 6 other scheduled cars to get finished by the end of Thursday.

Got the Audi prepped for Eurofest Maggie Valley this weekend. Ready for a weekend off. Much needed time with some friends.

Cory and I have matching cars and both with leaking water pumps. Toureag getting some front brake work and brake sensor wiring repair. We managed to get caught up to the schedule, but we had another load of broken cars dropped off since Friday. We will be closing a few hours early Friday for Eurofest Maggie Valley. See some of you at the event.

Got Maggie's car ready. Removed the old side skirts and rear spoiler. Installed Ventus front splitter, side skirts, painted the lower side panels black, mounted the side skirts, and installed a new rear spoiler. She's ready for Eurofest.

1 bad sensor throwing faults for all the sensors that share the reference voltage. Now to figure out which one is the cause for all the chaos.

Cory is back! We have a full crew and a very skilled and dedicated new tech. Tyler has been here before all of us since he started. He started working at 7am. We have a lot to do, but we are knocking them out. We are blessed to have an amazing team. Let's get to work.

congrats on being the only car I have had to refill the walnut blaster twice. You had the carbon bedded in lol. I had to scrape and blast to get them all clean the way I like them. The Allroad will definitely notice a difference after this and the tune.

More than one way to do this job with the head still on the car. I have 2 ways I prefer to do it. 1 is with air pressure and a bar holding the engine. 2 is to drop Paracord into the cylinder and push it up against the valves. Both ways work, but this way you don't have to fight getting the piston in the right spot and fight getting breaker bar in the right place that it doesn't swing the wrong way and you have to reset the piston. Those that have done it, which way do you prefer?

Twinning! 2 Vw Atlas in the shop with engine issues. Poor fuel mileage and running rough with multiple codes. Hpfp for one the other about to get diagnosed.

We have some Great news! Cory and Jessica had their baby girl last night. A few weeks early, but Jess and the baby are healthy and beautiful. Congratulations to you both! Holly will be sharing her birthday week with her daddy. Cory had his birthday on Saturday. As you all know we were already short staffed. Good news though we have added a new team member that will be a huge help moving forward. Cory and the new tech will be here in 2 weeks. Thank you all for patience and understanding.
