Today is the deadline to file business tax returns (something we have quite a few of) and the tax team has been hard at work finishing those returns!
It is also the day your third quarter estimated taxes are due! Post office is going to be busy today!

In our monthly company meeting, we always talk about putting ourselves in our client's shoes. We don't want to be the advisor who calls on April 15th to tell you that you need to pay $ # # # in for estimated taxes by end of day! It's much better to be proactive than reactive.

There are no emergencies in accounting (I guess unless it's 4:59pm on October 15th and the post office is about to close)... but we do try our best to provide excellent and speedy service to our clients when they need it.
