2024 flounder season update for NC - Carolina Sportsman North Carolina anglers will get a 4-day flounder season in 2024, in the state's inland and joint waters only.

Wanted to Shout Out The Greenville Christian Academy Shooting Team for their accomplishments at WHEST district competition this past weekend! They won 9 trophies overall! Team 1 (Lucas Miller, Bryson Dolenti, Mason Brown, Lilly Hackney, Kayla Strickland) placed 1st in Archery, 2nd in Rifle and 3rd in Hunter Skills. Team 1 also had an individual Bryson Dolentin placed first in individual Bow! Team 2 (Vinnie Pruitt, Elli Suggs, Jase Crawford, Wyatt Chilton, Braeden Lee) won 1st place overall! (Archery, Rifle, Hunter skills, Shotgun combined) as well as 1st place in Hunter Skills, 3rd in Rifle, 3rd in shotgun and Lucas Miller finishing with the highest score on Hunter skills Test. The kids did amazing job! And they were coached by our own Steve Tugwell and their bows were set up by our Archery Tech Jonathan Heath. Congratulations to the kids! And wish them Good Luck as they head to the State Competition on April 27th.
